Today, three broadcast members were able to attend Slippery Rock University for the Pennsylvania School Press Association’s (PSPA) Fall Regional Student Journalism Competition. The competitors will find out if they qualified for states in January. We will keep you updated!

This is the last week of school for underclassman. Several students and faculty are missing their senior classmates and students, especially Fitz! The rest of the students who are still in school will continue to produce Bulldog Beat and OffBeat, so make sure to check both shows out!

One Freedom student is advancing to the Student Journalism Competition State Finals after earning a first-place finish in her respective category in October's regional qualifier at Point Park University. Representing the Bulldog Beat at Finals on March 30 at Penn State University will be Maddy Sanders.
