In August, Etsy changed their listing photo size from rectangle to square. (SWIPE to see accurate dimensions)
It might not seem like a big deal to some but your listing photo is your #1 seller (followed by your description). 👉🏼 This small change could be costing you $100s if not $1000s if you’re not updating your photos to the appropriate size making your listings visually appealing and “clickbait”.

I’ll go first! When I was running my product based business, I always wish I had someone to add my listings to all of my sales platforms. While it’s a very simple task, it can be time consuming. It’s a task that can easily be outsourced without feeling like your giving up too much.

MANAGE YOUR TIME BETTER​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
A big part of running a successful business is managing our time better. But, of course, this is always easier said than done, right? It seems like the most straightforward thing, yet things seem to go differently than planned when we try and put it all into action.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Today I will give you 5 of my top time management tips to help you make this week go smoother.​​​​​​​​
1) Prioritize - Do the most important tasks you need to do yourself and delegate smaller tasks (to a virtual assistant, of course).​​​​​​​​
2) Stop multitasking - Make a to-do list and work through it.​​​​​​​​
3) Planner tool - Trello or Asana is a great way to track and plan things better.​​​​​​​​
4) Declutter - Clear your space and workload for a clearer mind going forward.​​​​​​​​
5) Repeat the cycle from week to week. Knowing what day you will accomplish specific tasks will ease some stress. Always give yourself a grace day when things don't go as planned.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

NOT EVERYBODY WILL BE THE RIGHT FIT​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​​​When working with new clients ( or a new VA), I always want to ensure that we are the perfect fit. Communication, expectations, & boundaries are key.
Today I wanted to share my top 4 tips when choosing a virtual assistant and how to decide which one is the right fit for you and your business.
1) Communication is key. Be clear - being clear on what you need is essential to creating the right expectations.
2) Expert in what you need - finding a virtual assistant that's a master in a specific service you are looking for is a good idea if that's the only thing you need help with.
3) Boundaries - set clear boundaries with your clients and or you VA. Respecting and valuing each others time is essential.
4) Flexible virtual assistant - finding someone flexible to your needs can help you if there is more than one thing you will need help with.

🍾 New year! New goals! 🍾
✨What goals do you have for your business this year? ✨ As a previous product-based small business owner, below are some of the goals I would have. ✨Comment with which number you can relate to! ✨
1. Stay on top of all Holidays. (Create a collection, market the new collection, etc.)
Send out 2-3 marketing emails each month.
2. Social Media: Post regularly (4-6 Xs/week), stay consistent in stories, create informative content, increase engagement, etc.
3. Create new products. (photograph, list, promote)
4. Stay on top of accounting tasks. (Spending, profits, strategize ways to keep my costs down)
5. Manage website (graphics, listings, collections to coordinate with seasonal events)
As a business owner, January was actually one of my favorite months. Sales slowed down a bit and it allowed me to take the time to reflect over the past year and figure out a plan to be more efficient and productive in the next year.

Feeling like your inconsistent with your branding? Never using the same fonts and/or colors? I can help you create a mood/brand board in less than 30 minutes. 🚨Keep reading🚨
1. Make an account on Canva (free version will work just fine)
2. Go to templates and search brand or mood board.
3. Pick a style of board you like.
4. Search their stock photos until you find one with all of the colors you feel like match your brand or what you want your brand to be.
5. Plug the photo(s) into the photo box(es)
6. Use the color search bar to hover over the image and capture your brands colors
7. Save your colors inside as your brand colors then they will always be at the top of your color selection
That’s it! And now you one step closer to creating your brand and a cohesive, aesthetically pleasing IG account 🙌🏼
