Working on a new song "Winter In Wisconsin"
Lyric backstory-The song was inspired by a young woman I met on a plane leaving Kansas City. She was in her early twenties and had a school-aged son. She was originally from Wisconsin but left because of disagreements with her family. She had started a relationship with a man in Rhode Island, who she was flying over to see. This song is interpretation of what it might feel like to be living in a remote part of the country, burdened with a host of responsibilities at an age when you're not really old enough to know the full impact of your decisions. It's also a plea for anyone who has felt trapped and just wants to feel a little bit of hope every once in a while.
