Flashback Friday to Gallifrey One this past February where I did a signing for “Adventures Across Space and Time: A Doctor Who Reader” which I contributed to last year!! My chapter is called “Forks in the Fandom Road: Divergent Views on the Social Politics of Doctor Who”.

The problem with taking pictures of things that I have baked is that then when I’m scrolling back through my phone weeks later I see pictures like this— a beautiful scone placed artistically on a plate and I know, I *know* how delicious that scone was, because I’m the one that ate it, but I also know that it involved a lot of time, effort, and ingredients that I don’t currently have, and so I sit silently and contemplate the fact that I am going to have to set aside an annoying amount of time to try and recreate this magic. Especially because even when I bake from a recipe I often take several liberties. One day I’ll tell y’all about the time I “referenced” a recipe and changed everything about it from ingredients to proportions to time in the oven to temperature. The only thing I kept the same was the five teaspoons of baking powder 😂
