Idling into 2026🎉 2025 was a grind with a lot of work and a lot of upgrades. Looking up from here, good things to come. My New Year’s resolution and focus will be the growth of Fishing Fanatics🎣.

Last fishing day of 2025. Winds dropped from 25mph to 8 allowing for some boat action. But so did the warmth🥶 Texas went from 80 degrees down to 30 in the matter of 24hrs. Last trip out for 2025 with One Largie (to small to post🥴) and one Blue Cat. Excited for what 2026 is going to look like.

Managed a Holiday Bass🎄🎅 This weather has been beautiful, but the Bass are very Finiki. The only bite I managed to get was on a micro swimbait after throwing the tackle box at them🤷🏻‍♂️ “One Is Better Than None”

Tested out the new equipment today 🙌 Calibrating the Ultrex and running the MEGA Down Imaging on the Helix 10 for the first time. Definitely an upgrade in satisfied with. What a difference. Tough bite, but at least found one.

Upgraded to the Minnkota Ultrex 80lbs thrust with the MEGA Down Imaging transducer and paired it with the Helix 10🙌 Two days of install, wouldn’t have been possible without the help of .tv Now, to get out on the water to get calibrated…

Also, huge shoutout to for renovating my garage and adding a mini split unit. 38* outside and we were at 70* with the heat on 🙌
