I joke a lot folks but

Be prepared with everything you might need for 5-7 days!
Update your first aid supplies , your family contact notification system, and be certain your entire household is aware of your disaster plan. I always have plenty of non perishable food items, extra cash, a full tank of gas in my car, fresh batteries and plenty of flashlights and lanterns. Extra fruit juices, and meds. And of course, photos of household goods and valuables in my waterproof box of importance documents that includes IDs, birth certificates, insurance policies, will, and bankng info and checkbook. ATM machines may be inoperable for extended periods. I generally keep waterproof box of Documents and an extra first aid kit and a suitcase or duffle bag with a week's clothes and extra shoes in trunk of car in case of need to evacuate quickly.
Have phone charged and extra chargers for home and auto and battery packs.
Be certain that all loose items outdoors are put away and/or secured. Leave a contact number posted on front door if evacuating.
IF evacuating...LEAVE at least two days prior to expected landfall!!
