That’s thirteen appointments in two days, which we do every six months. And guess what… NO CAVITIES in this household! 💪🙌🪥

Next Monday, we’re taking on the ultimate challenge: 10 kids, 2 parents, and a full day of eye exams at Visionworks.

We have some new folks around here, and many have been asking how on earth we have twelve kids, and what on earth is going on here! 😂

Well hello, new friends. 👋 We’re Caleb and Tamara, and this is a widow meets widower in an only-God-could-do-it kinda way. Yep, we have twelve kids, and yeah… the baby girl is Caleb AND Tamara’s even though she looks nothing like Tam. 😉🤣

We’ll be doing an updated “Our Story” video soon, but in the meantime, here are a few different ways to learn about us. This is our story.

Smoked BBQ pork butt on spuds for dinner—because nothing says “It’s Saturday in America” like a side of potatoes and a hunk of smoked pig. 🥔🐖🇺🇸

The boys and I kicked off the day with a surprise attack on the kitchen to whip up some German pancakes while mom was still sleeping 😴.
With 9 chefs (of varying skill levels), we cranked out those ‘cakes like a well-oiled machine.

After our pancake conquest, I hatched a devious plan: crawl back into bed and pretend I was just waking up. The boys were fully on board because, well, pranks are their love language.

So there I was, snug under the covers, when Tamara woke up and asked the classic, “What should we do for breakfast?”🥓

Cue her shock and delight moments later when she discovered breakfast was already done and dishes dusted. Boom—husband points secured.👊

The boys kept the teamwork going and helped me light the smoker for the pork butt. 🔥

The rest of the day was spent outside (even Evie joined us bundled up), working as a family and soaking in our blessings. Truly an epic day. ☀️
