Sunday morning gatherings are one of the highlights of my week! There’s just something about worshipping the Lord with fellow believers that pumps me up for the whole week.

This morning I had ample time to get ready for the day - I even picked out some jewelry to match the fit! (You know it’s been too long since you’ve worn double earrings when your ear starts bleeding - pretty much had to give myself a piercing all over 🥹)

A proper makeup session was in order after getting all dressed up - I had fun playing with products I haven’t brought out in a while, and getting creative with a new technique to start my base.

I’ve had an eventful weekend - a sleepover with your 8 yr old sister will tire you out, that’s for sure! Love getting to spend time with family, and excuses to eat sweets you normally don’t are great too!! How was your weekend?

Casual vibes from this casual girllllly - Today I was in the mood to throw on some makeup before heading to my church’s Discipleship Night, and I couldn’t help but play with my collection!

I’m all for this chill vibe, and the new hands-free feature on IG that doesn’t cut clips every 15 seconds has me inspired to film more videos like this!

Why you should wiggle your mascara wand while applying!

Can’t stop, won’t stop with the one layer makeup! This time I’m back with a few tips I’ve learned:

1. Really take your time with placement - smaller lines are easier to blend out than globs of products close together.
2. It’s okay to re-wet your face multiple times as you blend.
3. A SPONGE (mine is from ) is the way to go - it’s hard to find one brush that can do it all without the bristles getting too damp.
4. Wait to do any brows, lip, eye makeup, or mascara until the very end.
5. I very much enjoy this application for makeup because the finish is very natural and not cakey or thick in areas - even though I’m not getting the most coverage possible I prefer this look to others.
6. It gets easier the more you try this technique!

I still can’t get over the fact that I dyed my hair at home. I’m by no means a professional - that’s the funny part. It was a decision I had pondered over for a few months, but the act of hopping into my car and going over to Sally’s with all the knowledge I had gained was a little impulsive - no surprise there! 💁🏽‍♀️

I finally tried the single layer makeup technique, and I don’t know why I’ve ever done my makeup differently! I seriously loved the natural finish, although it wasn’t the easiest to blend out. In the future I’ll definitely use a sponge for better precision, but I’m giving this technique 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
