China is a beautiful 12-year-old, female pup with a waived adoption fee! She arrived as a stray in May, so we don’t have much history on her other than what we’ve observes at the shelter. China loves being outside and playing in the kiddie pool. She may do well with another calm canine friend, but a meet and greet would be required to ensure the two get along.

In an attempt to escape a Florida summer, David and Jackie Thompson travelled from Vero Beach to visit Death Valley National Park, where the official temperature was 128 degrees.

Though due to the lack of humidity in California, David says it was a dry heat!

Thanks for taking us to this below-sea-level desert basin, Thompsons! Interesting to experience a climate without oceans and tropical foliage! Talk about extremes!
