It's hard to believe it's been 12 years already since Matt Morelli and I worked on these videos. It was never about the videos, it was always about the music! Matt originally wanted something he could put his music to for YouTube, but instead of a slate or still image, we thought it would be innovative to animate pictures pulled from the web to make it more entertaining. Please keep Matt’s music in mind for any of your film, multimedia and social media projects.

"The Return of Christine"

I was reminiscing about a movie I saw a long time ago. The movie was about a possessed car named “Christine” and it was a little overly protective of its owner and went around killing the bad guys. Cool movie! So, this is kind of a movie trailer/car commercial demonstration. I thought I’d do something a little different.

This is my 19 year old Dodge Ram with a .350 HEMI. It's got over 156k miles on it.

Wolf Tales with Rob Gudger (original cut)

Role: Remote Video Preditor (producer/editor):

Produced & edited, cutting about 2 hours of footage down to a story that held continuity, incorporated B-roll, added effects, cleaned up audio, selected music, color corrected and created customized motion graphics.

There is another version out there with my name in the credits as video editor, but it was not re-edited by me. This is my one and only version that was supplied to ACE Filmmaker as a rough-cut. The re-edited version can be seen on Arledge Armenaki's YouTube channel, aka: .

“Schidel Luau”

It was a privilege to put this video together (post production) for the ELC honoring Mr. Schidel, who gave a huge donation and a ton of his time to build this event pavilion. You may not know the people in the video, but I think you can definitely feel the vibe. The people consist of family, friends, ELC (Vero Beach, FL) staff and volunteers.

I got the idea for BMP back when I was working for a national television network in West Palm Beach, FL called PAX Television Network owned by Lowell Bud Paxson. My parents had a cabin in Cashiers, NC on Bright Mountain Road at the time. My mother would mail me a card on occasion that she had hand-drawn a picture of a mountain range and smiley faced sun on the envelope and the words “Bright Mountain” were written across the top. So one day I told her, that was going to be the name of my production company one day.

In 2005 I was restructured out of PAX TV after 6+ years of service. Following the restructure, I moved to Western North Carolina to visit family and pursued my dream of launching Bright Mountain Productions. It's definitely been a roller coaster ride, but I'm still at it!

Bright Mountain Productions is registered with the state of NC for: Video Production, Photography and Remote Video Editing Services. Please contact me for your creative services needs. I communicate well and am easy to work with.
