Did you know... playing a video game can raise money for nonprofits? Every year millions of dollars are raised for nonprofits around the world by people who play video games. A message from Ms Curvy United Universe.

Before I take a mental break and step back for a moment, I thought it would be fun to share this throwback when apparently I was a baby queen in the making.

With that being said, as some of you may notice, I've gotten pretty quiet over the past couple of months due to a lot of personal things currently going on that's exhausting my mental and emotional state. I announced to our lovely director, Ann Marie, yesterday that I would be stepping back for a little while to take care of me. I feel that it is a perfect time to do so as events here in Washington have died down a little for the season as we're approaching our wet and colder months.

Furthermore, being a titleholder takes a lot of energy, and I strongly believe that you need to have a solid foundation yourself before you're able to help others as you will only be chipping away from a unstable foundation, and eventually it will become so weak, that it will collapse. I would also like to advise that there is nothing wrong with knowing your limitations as it is part of keeping you healthy moving forward.

Here's the beautiful thing as well, UUP/RUU truly values their royalty as they believe in transparency, and YOU, their family member, WILL ALWAYS COME FIRST! I can't say that loud enough!! This is such a big factor of why you should consider UUP/RUU as we've seen many queen's within the pageantry industry struggle mentally, and their systems keep them obligated to their contracts, dismissing their needs. Losing Cheslie Kryst should have been the eye opener for pageant systems to take their royalty's mental health seriously, but at the end of the day, pageants are a business. I feel, though, what should decipher if a system will value you is the actions behind their words, and I can reassure you that UUP/RUU does that, as there's nothing but love and support through those ups and downs when you become UUP/RUU family.

Lastly, I am going to clarify that I am not resigning, but as mentioned, stepping back from my duties to handle the things I need to in order to move forward in a positive and healthy manner. I'm looking forward to coming back to you all soon! Happy Holidays!
