We are entering the dark time of the year. This is an excellent time to focus on specific prayers. As an elder, I will have many people, places and things I will be praying for. Top of my list will be Mother Earth, the people who dwell on her, the plants growing to provide food and homes for the animals. I will be making prayers for peace among all the people of this planet. You don't have to know someone to wish a stranger well. You don't have to know someone to pray for them. Christians are not the only ones who pray. Our main focus should be love. Love for each other, love for those we don't know and ... this is the hard one ... love for people who disagree with us. Pray or keep good thoughts for all people, especially those who are in need of a good thought or prayer
