Do this, not that: Hair Edition 💇‍♀️

Here are some of the secrets to stunning locks that explain what to embrace and what to avoid.

“Why shouldn’t I purchase products from Amazon? They’re WAY cheaper.”

~ While yes, you might save a couple extra $$$ on Amazon, I can’t guarantee wether or not they’re coming from a reliable source! It’s always best to purchase through a reliable supplier, your stylist. (Link in bio for all my favorite pro brands 😉)

“But shouldn’t I condition all of my hair so nothing is left dry?”

~ The short answer is no, this isn’t necessary regardless of your hair type! Since the scalp produces natural oils to nourish the roots, applying conditioner on the scalp will only make the roots greasy and flat.

“My hair will never hold a curl, even on the highest heat setting!”

~ I’ve heard this a lot from my fine hair girlies. STOP BURNING YOUR HAIR. Upping the heat on the iron won’t make your hair curl more or stay longer. Using the right products and having the right routine can help hold your style in longer. Consult with your stylist for the right products for your hair type.

“Isn’t a pillowcase just a pillowcase?”

~ When it comes to hair care the last thing we think of is our bedding, but in reality our hair probably touches our pillow the most. Silk is gentler on the hair than other fabrics like cotton or linen. The smooth fabric glides against your hair cuticles, which produces less friction than coarser fabrics. So this reduced friction can result in less tangling, frizziness, and breakage.

Hi Friends!

Let me take a moment to re-introduce myself. I’m Hannah! 😁 Most of you know me as a lash artist, but most recently I became a licensed cosmetologist! 💇‍♀️ I graduated from the wonderful in June and have begun my journey as a Hairdresser and I’m continuing my career as a lash technician aswell. When I first started in the beauty industry I was very focused on lash extensions, makeup, and skin. Well, I ended up enrolling as a cosmetology student instead of an esthetician and my love for hair started the first day of school. Since then my passion for all things beauty has grown immensely and I’m so excited to make this my forever career! 💼🤍

Here’s a few things about me:

• I LOVE country music and all things in the western world. Rodeo’s are my jam. 🤠
• I’m from the small town of Cool, CA. 📍

Hi Friends! :)

So some of you may have noticed a few things changed, I’ve moved salons and I’m now a part of the beautiful Maribou team! 🩷 I’m so excited to be back in a big salon with this beautiful team of girls. ✨ I’ll be assisting the amazing ! As of now I’m located in the Palladio in Folsom, but starting December 1st I’ll be at the Blue Ravine location! While I’m assisting I’ll be taking clients for hair only with limited availability at our Blue Ravine location. Unfortunately this means I will be taking a step back from lashes, but only temporarily! I hope to see you guys in my chair soon. 🫶 Happy holidays! 🦃🎄🍁
