✨ Saturday, April 26, 9 am to 12pm

✨ Rods, reels and bait will be provided but you can also bring your own

✨ There will be prizes!

✨ No registration required

🚨Fairway Drive will be closed to through traffic for six months.

We know, this is inconvenient, but this stretch of road really needs some TLC and we’re glad to see it happening.

THE DETAILS

✨ Work will begin in June and last about 6 months

✨ The road from SH 26 to Marina Drive will transition from 5 lanes at SH26 to three lanes (it’s two lanes now) just north of the US Army Corps of Engineers property

✨Marina/Treatment Trail will get a roundabout

✨ A 10-foot wide shared use path will be added on the west side from SH 26 to Marina Drive

✨ To get around it, you’ll need to make a big loop around Grapevine Mills Mall

🚧 More new buildings ahead for 2499!

➡️ Titensor Dental has a new building planned on this L-shaped lot next to VCA Animal Hospitals, just down the street from the new Whataburger-Slim Chickens-Dutch Bros string of restaurants.

✨ Plans indicate they will be demolishing the home that is not he frontage

✨A LOT of trees are planned, plus a retention pond

✨ Plus, there will be a very fancy-looking new dental practice on the back of the property once it’s all finished

Expected completion: December 2025

🚧 Land has been cleared on three lots, and the view is VERY DIFFERENT on 2499 heading south.

🧡 Whataburger has an estimated completion date of September.

Lots for Dutch Bros Coffee and Slim Chickens are also being worked on.

These have already been approved by the town, but nothing has been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation quite yet.
