Our homes are filled with glitter and feathers, our suitcases are ready to be filled with sparklies, and in 4 short days, we are Jackson-bound! The Boss Queen has at least half a tube of E-6000 glue on her fingers as we speak, having finished the coveted Prima Drama Awards today, to be awarded to deserving Queens of other Chapters in Jackson who have proved themselves worthy by being observed in a Dramatic Act.

The Drama Queens of the Singing River would like to announce the theme for their 2013 appearance in the Sweet Potato Queens' Zippity Doo Dah Parade: Toddlers in Tiaras!! This, we think, fits in with Her Royal Highness Jill Conner Browne's original theme for 2013, "Forever Young" and after all, as Queen Amanda pointed out, what's more of a drama queen than a toddler in a tiara?

Still on a high from the weekend, and though I can barely walk I am still floating. And, I am pleased to announce that we have a brand new Drama Queen!! Queen Judith was crowned on Sunday and we are all thrilled to pieces. I am working on weekend photos but for now, here we are before the Parade!
