Luminous Matte Concealer

I just got this beauty in shade Meringue 2.1 from Huda Beauty and Skeepers to try out! I typically don’t use concealer, because they don’t tend to work on me and on top of that, they always crease! Momma’s got some dark circles though, so it’s time to find a concealer I love, and Huda is such a great brand I thought…why not!? This boasts 14hr crease-proof wear, a conditioning formula with sweet almond oil & vitamin E, and is available in 29 shades for all skin tones & undertones!

The doe foot on this is big for concealer, but I don’t think it’s too big for the under eye area. At first swatch, it covered well! I’m going to have to test it out to give my official review, but I’m curious if you have a concealer you swear by?

I was able to try this perfume from Maison Louis Marie thanks to my IPSY membership, and I grabbed the perfume oil rollerball.

This is absolutely a sweet, floral, light and feminine scent! I can’t describe well enough that this is so rich, but still super light!

I chose the perfume oil formula because this is made with a blended base of safflower, sunflower, and rosemary oil as opposed to a typical Eau De Parfum which contains alcohol as its base. While this fragrance doesn’t have a wide throw and is more intimate, it does have a great amount of sillage and lasts ALL day with one application!

I highly recommend giving this fragrance a try if you like clean fragrances (think laundry, Light Blue) or sweet, classic scents like J’Adore, La Vie est Belle, or Good Girl.

🏖️🏨💃🏽🕺🏽 ALT. Fragrances MIAMI BEACH
I have been seeing this perfume everywhere, and Miami Beach has some of the BEST smelling hotels around! When I saw that this was inspired by the scent of the iconic Fontainebleu lobby, I was SO hoping that the Fontainebleu smelled like the SLS and Delano lobbies in South Beach, because that is my favorite scent on the entire globe! 🌍

WELL I am sadly disappointed. I would compare the scents of SLS/Delano and Fontainebleu to that of the Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street. South Beach has a glitzy, airy scent that is extremely light and luxurious. Apparently the Fontainebleu smells like old velvet couches and “old money” suits that have had one too many ci**rs and drinks. This is not for me, and I would not honestly recommend this to anyone. I would not call this scent sun-kissed or lively, like ALT describes it.

The notes are supposed to be akin to the ocean breeze brushing against the Miami shoreline, then a zesty hint of orange. The heart of the fragrance is noted to be a floral paradise, which is the only note claiming to be in this fragrance that I do smell. I personally think this smells like some sort of vetiver, floral, to***co scent and it just smells cheap. I can’t honestly attest to the sillage or longevity, because I can’t even force myself to put this one on.

Have you tried this one? I know that ALT. is a great brand, so I want to know what your favorite fragrance from them is that I can try next!

Thank you to i-ENVY and Ivy Beauty I was recently gifted 3 packs of their Press & Go Cluster Lashes!
These are available in 3 collections: Every day, Glam day, and Special Day. Within each collection, there are 2-4 different styles such as Natural, Wispy, Bold, Curly, etc.
I was lucky enough to receive 1 pack of lashes from each collection! I received Bold from the Glam day collection, Natural from the Every day collection, and Curly from the Special day collection.

Each of these are All-in-One kits, which include 18 lash clusters (6 in 3 different sizes) and a mini applicator. Let me tell you, these lashes and the applicator are GREAT quality! I was extremely surprised by this. Longevity by themselves is not the best. If you just press them on with nothing else, these will last you one good night out and will likely fall off by the next day. If that is all you want them for, then perfect! If you do wish they lasted longer (similar to lash extensions) they do also make a Press & Go All-Nighter which is said to extend the longevity up to 10 days! I can’t speak to the accuracy of this, but I did order it for myself to try it out. What you do with this is brush this on your natural lashes before you start to press on the press & go lashes. When you press with the applicator after you have them all on, the lash clusters will then adhere to your natural lash and stick longer. Just be careful when you take them off – soak, or use makeup remover, but DO NOT pull so you don’t pull off your natural lashes!! I learned that the hard way in the past.

I will keep you guys posted with my review of all 3 of these kits! What do you think…which set should I do a try-on video of first? I have previously used the Every day line with a friend, but I do have small eyes & a small face so I think I will most like this collection. Should I go for Bold or Curly?

❤️‍🔥 DOLCE & GABBANA DEVOTION ❤️‍🔥

I was gifted this sample of D&G Devotion Perfume by Macy's and Dolce & Gabbana and let me tell you, I am loving it! It isn’t a scent profile I feel like I would normally go for but it truly works. This is classified as a Bright Gourmand, and I think that hits the nail on the head. I heard someone recently compare it to tiramisu, and I think that honestly is a decent comparison! There are light notes of sugary candied lemons, airy orange blossoms, and sensual vanilla that wraps you up in a warm but light hug! This is most definitely one of the sweetest scents I’ve ever tried, but because it is so light it isn’t overpowering or too sweet. It lasts all day long with just a spritz or two, and others around me can smell the deliciousness too. The full bottle, adorned with the D&G Sacred Heart, is absolutely gorgeous too! The sacred heart symbolized fashion with boundless love.

This perfume is bright, sweet, and sensual all at the same time so I think this would be a winner for so many frangrance lovers out there! Have you tried this one yet?

L’ARTISAN PARFUMEUR
I recently came across this luxury fragrance brand and knew after reading about a few of their scents that I had to smell them for myself.
They have a sample program where you can purchase 2 samples and the only fee is the delivery cost of $7.50. This price for 2 perfume samples wasn’t too bad to me, so I decided that I wanted to try them enough that I did it!

First, you’ll scroll through about 40 different scents to decide the 2 that you would like to order as samples. For my first time, after spending hours reading through each available option, I landed on Á Fleur De Pêche and Iris de Gris.

🍑 Á Fleur de Pêche – This has captured the essence of the peach by combining fruit, floral and woody notes with unexpected ingredients to reflect on all facets of the fruit from its juicy flesh to its fuzzy touch and woody core. The main notes in this fragrance are Jasmine, Patchouli, and Peach.

🫛 Iris de Gris – This is a pea perfume. Yes, you read that right! After the main note of Iris comes the Pea Accord. Let me tell you….I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew I had to try it to see if it really smelled like peas! There is a hint of pea underneath the sultry floral iris notes, and I have to tell you this may be one of my favorite perfumes EVER. There are also hints of mint, blood orange, and ambroxan so this does cater itself to each person’s body chemistry.

You must believe me when I tell you that these perfumes are worth trying! These are nothing like normal perfumes and are completely elevated into a whole new experience.

🍓🍒🍊🍋 Her. Gifted by in my little brown fragrance box of samples. I have to tell you…this isn’t a new perfume, and I have been sleeping on it! My quickest review of this perfume is that this is a grownup, sophisticated version of Juicy Fruit! It smells absolutely AMAZING! You definitely get the berry notes first, and I almost thought it smelled like Twizzlers - cherry, strawberry, and raspberry definitely hit off the top ropes. As you wear though, it changes and you get more of the citrus hints from the Mandarin Orange & Lemon notes! Let me tell you…I am in love! This lasted ALL day on me, with just 1 spritz! I will be buying a full-sized bottle.

Thank you to Skeepers and Fresh Beauty for gifting me this Black Tea Advanced Agricultural Renewal Eye Cream! I have been using it for a few days, so I’ll give you a full review after a few more but so far I am liking it! This has a thick, creamy texture and a little goes a LONG way! The scent is amazing. ✨5 Week Check-In✨
For those of you that saw my post about the Shampoo and Conditioner bars, here is my update! This product claims that after 5 washes you will start to see results. I was skeptical, because this type of product seems to have come out of the woodworks overnight! Here is what I found:
🌀My waves/curls are much more moisturized and defined! Even with no other products (gel/creams/etc.)
🌀My hair is looking thicker at the roots! 🙌🏼
🌀I don’t get as oily between wash days (2x/wk)
🌀My ends seem much healthier as well and my hair feels stronger and I am seeing less breakage! 🌀 I have honestly noticed a little growth already!!
🚫 I have noticed more fallout during my washes. I am not sure if this is my weaker hair falling out and making way for stronger hair? Since it seems my hair is thicker, this one doesn’t concern me too much yet!

Influenster has been good to us with lots of fun things for my daughters, and this time we are back with a product in partnership with creativityforkids by Faber-Castell! I have been seeing scalp oils EVERYWHERE! Are you already on this trend? I came across this Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Scalp Oil and I am pleasantly surprised and happy with the ingredients! There are 5 ingredients that I would call “questionable”, but 30+ essential oils has me convinced to try this! I love that it comes in a glass bottle with the tincture dropper for easy application. Wellness Wednesday! My daughters are EXTREMELY picky when it comes to vitamins. They used to take gummy vitamins, but the sugar coating was discontinued and they hated them after that. So I went on the search for a vitamin that they would love, but also that I would feel good about giving to them! I discovered and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My older daughter (6) is picky, so these were a no brainer to choose for her, but my younger (3) isn’t picky and they work equally as well for her! One of the main issues my 6-year-old had before starting these vitamins was bowel troubles. She would go days without going, and when she did they hurt her. After about 7 days on these new vitamins and she was regularly going without pain! 🙌🏼 That makes my momma heart happy! The ingredient that made the most difference for her was the Iron! Hi 👋🏼 I just received this gift from a friend and wanted to share, because I am SO excited to start using it! I actually just wrote in it today. 🥰

The Reminder Binder is an 18-month calendar from Jan 24-June 25, but I think even if you only used it for 1 year it would be worth it! This is from a small business, great quality, and the price is really great!
