THE 10TH SPECIAL FORCES GROUP WINS THE 2024 USASOC BEST COMBAT DIVER COMPETITION!

Finishing second were the duo from the 1st Marine Raider Battalion and third was the team from USASOC.

Congratulations to these teams for a great accomplishment at a very difficult and challenging competition.

This year’s Best Combat Diver Competition was a special event that marked the 60th anniversary of Special Forces Underwater Operations, a memorial unveiling ceremony honoring the legacy of eight fallen combat divers, and a ten event, multiple day, and night competition to demonstrate skill and capability through performance.

U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division Band, perform during the Division review ceremony on Pike Field, Fort Liberty, North Carolina, May 23, 2024, marking the end of All American Week.

AAW24 celebrated the Division’s culture and legacy as America’s Guard of Honor through a series of sporting and ceremonial events promoting comradery.

It was one of the highlights of my life to serve with the airman of the 315th/437th Joint Base Charleston and the 43d Maintenance Squadron, Pope AFB Fayetteville, NC. Some of these men and women made the ultimate sacrifice! My thoughts and prayers are with their families and all families who have lost a loved one serving in the armed services. Let us all remember those sacrifices on this Memorial Day.

This morning, 1 Fury conducted a Hero WOD to honor CPL Benjamin Neal, a Bravo Company Fury Paratrooper who was killed on April 25th, 2012 in Afghanistan. Today we remember his legacy as we conducted a workout in his name.
