t and educational resources we seek to break through the polarized landscape of the age to present faith based perspectives on what is happening in this generation. The End of History does not present an agenda or a political position but goes beyond this to universal values and ethics we believe are important to both building and sustaining quality life. As the world grows darker visitors to the End of History can become better educated through podcast series and infographix. These tools provide a resource of hundreds of hours of background information on a variety of topics. As new series and resources become available many of our older podcasts become accessible to Premium Members only. Visitors to the End of History can tap into this wealth of knowledge at their convenience to better understand how the crises of today came about. Regular podcasts and articles provide values-based perspectives on issues dominating the headlines, or those that should be dominating the headlines, and present a reasonable perspective that counters the anxiety presented in much of the popular media.

In our Six Years That Made the Modern Middle East podcast series, we come to 2003, the year of the US invasion of Iraq. This would be a game changer for the region, sending it over the edge and into the abyss of chaos. This episode looks at the Israel-Palestinian conflict, the intifada, and the peace process. We look at the rise of the mujahideen in Afghanistan and their spread to different conflicts throughout the world. Isaac and Ishmael: Origins of the Middle East Conflict, or a Religious Myth?

For the last 80 years, a popular teaching has emerged that states the conflict between Israel and the Arabs is Biblical in origin. According to this teaching, the story of Isaac and Ishmael is the seed of a perpetual conflict that has always and will always exist between Israel and the Arabs. You can find this Isaac and Ishmael doctrine taught among many Christians, Jews, and even Muslims today. But is it true? What are the facts to back it up? In this video/teaching, I explore the facts behind the doctrine. I look in depth at the actual scriptures that support (or fail to support) the Isaac and Ishmael myth. I then look at the historical realities of the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael. Last, and this is the most important part, I explore the harmful implications of this myth.
