What is Goldbug all about?
Goldbug Craft Service is one of the oldest craft service companies in the industry today, providing the best service to a variety of projects, both big and small.
It all began in 1989 on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina when the company was formed to work on local commercials and television programs. Sullivan’s Island was where Edgar Allan Poe wrote his short story, “The Gold Bug” way back in 1843. The company was actually started on Goldbug Avenue, hence the name.
Not long after, we expanded north to the Baltimore market, getting onto larger productions before heading south again in 2008 to the Atlanta metropolitan area. Although slow at first, we were blessed with increased business and a continued philosophy that it is our goal to give cast and crews the best snacks and best service possible. In short, we maintain a people-oriented business who pride ourselves on taking the edge off of a 13-hour day.
Today, we have grown into a diverse group of people who all work together to make it happen. Snacks. Coffee. Smiles. Whatever we can do to brighten your day, we will.... and have, since 1989.
