Fargo Santa Claus

Fargo Santa Claus Santa Claus Ho ho ho! I'm Santa Claus, though you may also know me as Saint Nicholas, Kris Kringle, or Father Christmas. I live way up at the North Pole with Mrs.

My story goes back centuries, inspired by a real-life saint named Nicholas of Myra, a kind-hearted bishop who loved giving gifts, especially to children in need. Over time, my legend grew, and today I’m known as the jolly, round fellow with a white beard, red suit, and a hearty laugh. Claus, and together we run a bustling workshop where my elves and I prepare toys all year round. On Christmas Eve,

I set off in my magical sleigh, pulled by my trusty reindeer, to deliver presents to children around the world. I slip down chimneys, leave gifts under the tree, and enjoy a cookie or two before heading back into the night. The stories about me have evolved over time, blending traditions from different cultures like Sinterklaas from the Netherlands and Father Christmas from Britain. Whether you’ve heard of me through Clement Clarke Moore’s famous poem “The Night Before Christmas” or seen me in modern movies and TV shows, I’m here to spread the spirit of giving, joy, and holiday cheer. Remember, it’s not just about the presents—it’s about love, kindness, and making the world a little brighter!

I am both very greatful and humbled by the opportunity I've had this season to be part of so many peoples Christmas. Today I passed 5000 people that I've had a chance to interact with this season. I have a few more weeks to go before I'm done, but thank you to those that have including me. Especially thank you to the hundreds of people that sought me out for pictures. It humbles me to know that you chose me to be part of these special memories. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!!

ONLY TWO REMAING VISITS AVAILABLE!!!

Catch a Santa! When I was a child, I remember trying to catch Santa in the act on Christmas Eve. Laying away, listening for sleigh bells. I never did, but each year, I arrange to be caught by kids all over the Fargo area.

How it works - Mom and Dad leave the presents somewhere for me - unusually in the car or something. That night, after 9:30 or 10, I visit your home and put the presents under the tree and in the stockings, sample the cookies and then depart. I'm in and out - this is a no-contact visit, though I'm usually able to hear the giggling children watching and I'll give them a wink.

I wear my jingle bells so I'm easily heard by the children and I'm happy to be caught on cameras using my 'magic key' to open the door you've left unlocked for me.

If you are interested in this magical experience for your children, please message me!

OPTIONALLY, I CAN VISIT AND ONLY BE CAUGHT ON CAMERAS WITHOUT ENTERING. If you prefer this, please specify when you contact me as rates are different.

Come see Santa!

The O Antiphon for December 23 is "O Emmanuel" (O God-with-us).

Perhaps the Old Testament's best-known prophecy of the coming Messiah is found in Isaiah 7:14, when God says to King Ahaz, "A virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall name him Emmanuel." The word "Emmanuel" translates to "God with us," which is exactly what God accomplishes in His Incarnation: He takes on our human nature, including being born of a woman, and becomes one of us in order to redeem us and to open the way to eternal life for us. And His presence to us wasn't limited to His earthly life 2000 years ago; He promised to be with us always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20), and He fulfills this promise through His Church, His Body on earth, and through His presence in the Eucharist.

Today is the final O Antiphon, but we can't put them aside without pointing out a little hidden "Easter egg:" if you put the Latin antiphons in reverse order and take their first letter (Emmanuel, Rex, Oriens, Clavis, Radix, Adonai, Sapientia), you get the phrase "ero cras," which means, "tomorrow, I will come." And indeed He will, late tomorrow, when we celebrate the first Christmas Masses! Come, Lord Jesus!

The 4th Sunday of Avent.

Lk 1:39-45
Mary set out
and traveled to the hill country in haste
to a town of Judah,
where she entered the house of Zechariah
and greeted Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting,
the infant leaped in her womb,
and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit,
cried out in a loud voice and said,
“Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears,
the infant in my womb leaped for joy.
Blessed are you who believed
that what was spoken to you by the Lord
would be fulfilled.”

The O Antiphon for December 22 is "O Rex Gentium" (O King of the Nations).
Isaiah prophesies not only that "a virgin will conceive and bear a son," but also that "upon his shoulder dominion rests" and that "his dominion is vast and forever peaceful" (Isaiah 9:5-6). He comes to be king not just of Israel, but of every heart and every place. As we pray the Lord's Prayer, we ask, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven," recognizing that Jesus' Kingdom is not just a future reality, but one to be established here and now through our prayers and efforts to love and evangelize others. May we pray today that Jesus may truly reign in every place and in every heart!
