“Gary… Gary? GAAARY!” If you’ve ventured into Vault 108 in Fallout 3, chances are you’re still haunted by the endless repetition of that name. Vault 108, located in the Capital Wasteland, stands out as one of the most eerie and darkly humorous vaults in the Fallout series.

What makes it unique? Vault 108 was part of a twisted Vault-Tec experiment involving cloning. The result? Dozens of identical clones, all with the same name—Gary. These clones were aggressively territorial, shouting their name repeatedly and attacking intruders without hesitation. Wasteland Wednesday: Exploring Fort Atlas

“Fort Atlas is one of the most iconic locations in Appalachia, and for good reason. Once known as the ATLAS Observatory, this site was a hub of advanced military science before the Great War. It was home to the ATLAS Program, a cutting-edge project focused on atmospheric terraforming and weather modification.

After the war, the observatory fell into disrepair, occupied by hostile robots for decades. But in 2103, the Brotherhood of Steel arrived, transforming the observatory into their headquarters—what we now call Fort Atlas.

📍 Location: Savage Divide, near Monongah.
⚙️ Pro Tip: Completing the Brotherhood questline here not only unlocks a fantastic story but also the Hellcat Power Armor plans, perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their loadout.
