At the age of 25 he'd already put out quality hip hop with well known artists Bitter Stephen's and DeVoy(Glass Daggers), not to mention released a limited run of his first project "Sleep Deprivation". Phate studied at Full Sail University for audio engineering so he's good behind the scenes as well. He is co-founder and owner/operator of Chamber Music Productions, LLC. What originally started in a
dank basement as a thrown together studio is now set to release it's third project and first major album release. In 2011, illPhate left California to return to the midwest after serving 4 years in the USMC, deploying twice both Iraq and Afghanistan. A real life warrior. P has always had a love for hip hop but never took it farther than party freestyles...until his brother in law, Bitter Stephens, decided to sink some time and effort into helping the young emcee hone his abilities. You can hear some of Phates first efforts on Glass Daggers' "Swords of Justice" and in comparison will be making his major debut on Bitter Stephen's 2015 release "Skinning the Gloves".
