I'm not sure what I make of this to be honest, essentially it's using a brand name which left our High Streets 20 or so years ago. Our Price could be found everywhere in the 80s and into the 90s with hundreds of shops up and down the country. I joined the Colchester team in early 1987, and spent my time moving across Essex into the late 90s, before moving to Virgin Megastores.
The offer here is a very different proposition, it is purely vinyl and on first glance is quite a conservative offering, very mainstream and no real depth. The Hi Fi offer is entirely Aiwa products, which are widely available elsewhere, and are serviceable, but seem a strange choice to base the entire audio offer on. Certainly doesn't inspire the genuine excitement I once felt for a brand and shopping experience which catered for so much more.
