Producing 72 different kinds of gemstones, the Gem State is appropriately named - Idaho is a Native American word that means gem of the mountains.
Although potatoes might be the first thing you think of when you think Idaho, the delicious ruby red trout of the Snake River comes close to the top of my favorite food list.

Pulling into the parking lot this morning I thought I saw the shadow of a man cross my headlights. I slammed on the brakes, but no one was there. “Must be a trick of the lights,” I told myself.
Then I came around the corner and there was this rubber ball. Being a boy my first thought was to get out and kick it, or throw it. Then I remembered the shadowy man and I thought, “oh no, I’m not falling for that,”.”
I parked the car and ran inside as fast as I could.
