☁️☁️A shallow cold front moving through the Enid area caused an unusual cloud formation around noon. Damon Lane, chief meteorologist at KOCO, said because the cold front was shallow, it didn't affect the clouds higher in the sky.

An 8 a.m. breakfast will be followed by lunch at 11:30 and the MLK Celebration program at about 12:15 p.m. on Monday, said Lyntel Murphy, chair of the city of Enid’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Commission. 🦅 🦅

Several cars of a BNSF Railway train derailed near ADM Milling, 1301 N. 4th, on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025. The railroad did not respond to a request for information. According to Enid Police Department, the derailment was reported at 2:40 p.m. and no streets were closed.
