The Lakewood City Council recently approved two major infrastructure projects to improve safety and aesthetics in key city corridors. A $460,000 budget appropriation will fund aesthetic enhancements at the US Highway 6 and Wadsworth Boulevard interchange.

At the same time, a newly passed ordinance allows the city to acquire property for a separated bike lane on Garrison Street north of Alameda.
