Hi I'm Daryl, CEO and Senior Remote Pilot of SkyView Aerial Productions, LLC. This is the first Blog for SkyView Aerial Productions and we'd like to welcome all of our visitors to the page. We hope that you will find the material here engaging and you'll participate in the conversations. Well, let's start off with a little background about the company and the people behind it. ew Aerial Productions, LLC. came to me right after I got "hooked" flying quads/drones. I started out with the little cheap ones and crashed so much, it almost deterred me from flying, but as you can see I kept at it. The next step came when I decided to fly for money. It was a very big shock to me when I found out that in order to fly commercially, you had to have an actual pilot's license. You know, the kind of license you need to fly "real" planes. However, the FAA came to my rescue. This past summer, they introduced Part 107; which provides a licensing method to fly drones commercially without having to have a pilot's license to fly planes. Don't get me wrong, the test you have to take to get certified is hard, but I passed and SkyView Aerial Productions, LLC. We've all heard the old saying "Behind every great man is an even greater woman". In my case that is absolutely true. Angela, my wife is also my partner in the company. Her support in this en devour can't be measured. She's encouraged me to pursue my dream. She also brings a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the administrative side of things. I've never met anyone so organized. Another part of her responsibilities is to schedule all of our jobs and events. Our son Josh is also helping out. He's a very remarkable young man who is helping the company with our social media marketing and other areas as needed. From "tweeting" to "snap chatting", he's the guy who knows all about that stuff. Along with helping out in the company, he's also holding down a full time job, raising a toddler, is a brand new husband and expecting a new baby soon. Like I said, he's a remarkable young man. Rounding out our incredible crew is our niece Kiela. She will be handling all of the company's public facing correspondence, such as press releases and other associated duties. She brings a wealth of knowledge in many areas and we're excited that she's working to make SkyView Aerial Productions, LLC. the very best. Well, that's a little bit about the company and who we are.
