Cosmetic Jar of Tutankhamun with lion on lid

This cosmetic alabaster jar of Tutankhamun used as an unguent or perfume container, is a masterpiece of unusual form and design. The lid is adorned with the figure of a small recumbent lion, its mouth open and an ivory tongue sticking out.

Around the jar are scenes of lions and dogs hunting bulls and gazelles, incised and stained with red, green, and blue paint. The two columns on either side have lotus capitals supporting the head of the protector god, Bes. The jar rests on crossed bars ending in the heads of the traditional foes of Egypt.

عريضة المطالبة بإلغاء الفيلم الوثائقي كليوباترا من انتاج نتفليكس وصلت لأكثر من ٥١ ألف موقع ولا زال العدد في زيادة ..
الفيلم هو تزوير تاريخي حيث تلعب دور كليوباترا ممثلة سوداء البشرة بما يخالف اي منطلق تاريخي أو علمي أو حتي منطقي،وهو عبارة عن رضوخ لضغط الافروسمتريكس لاختطاف وتزوير تاريخ الأمم الأخري وعلي رأسها مصر.
حركات الافروسنتريكس مش هتكتفي بتزوير تاريخ مصر ولكن التاريخ الديني أيضا له نصيب في توجهاتهم من التزوير ، فبعضهم يزعم أن النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم كان اسود البشرة وأنه نقل تعاليمه السماوية من بلال ابن رباح .. ومسألة وقت قبل ما النكتة دي هي كمان تتحول لتوجه علني ، الخلاصة إن أيا كان توجهك وموقعك الجغرافي فهما مش هيسيبوك في حالك.

Statue of Khasekhemwy

The statue of Khasekhemwy last king of the 2nd Dynasty of Egypt, enthroned with conquered foes incised around the base, it is the oldest surviving stone royal sculpture from ancient Egypt.

The king is wearing the White Hedjet Crown of Upper Egypt and is wrapped in a long robe with long sleeves associated with the heb-sed jubilee festival. His right fist is drilled to attach a separate object, perhaps a mace handle or sceptre.

Early Dynastic Period, 2nd Dynasty, around 2700 BC. Limestone, height: 62 cm, from Hierakonpolis, Upper Egypt. Now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. 47.209

Table for Libation or Offerings

Old Kingdom, end of 2nd Dynasty, around 2690 BC.
From the Mortuary Temple of Djoser, Saqqara.
Now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. CG 1321

Sculpted from an alabaster block, this altar was used either as a sacrificial altar or a libation table. It is decorated with the forms of two lions, whose front and back paws are beautifully defined.

The altar slopes downward towards a circular basin, around which the tails of the lions are curled. Magical offering formulas and prayers were recited when libations like water, milk, beer or wine were poured over the altar.

Funerary beds matching the style of this altar were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun, as well as in the funeral procession scenes in the Tombs of the Nobles in Thebes from the New Kingdom Period.

In November 2021, a team of scientists made a groundbreaking discovery at White Sands National Park in New Mexico: the oldest human footprints ever found in North America, dating back to 21,000-23,000 years ago. These fossilized footprints were preserved along the ancient shores of a prehistoric lake that once existed in the Tularosa Basin.

This remarkable finding reshapes our understanding of North American human history, pushing back the estimated arrival of humans on the continent by nearly 10,000 years. The team"s excavation efforts revealed a total of 61 footprints, primarily left by teenagers and children. It is hypothesized that adults engaged in skilled tasks at the lake"s edge, while adolescents and children were responsible for fetching, carrying, and possibly playing, resulting in more imprints from these younger individuals.
