Join us for "We All Have a Role to Play in Suicide Prevention", a powerful speaker series presentation led by suicide expert and leader within the Veterans Affairs’ National Suicide Prevention Program Dr. Andrew Moon, and facilitated by For All Seasons President and CEO Beth Anne Dorman.
Dr. Moon will share his invaluable experience in averting crisis points before suicidality occurs and addressing immediate suicide risks, leaving you with hope and the readiness to make a difference in our community. In this eye-opening conversation, you can expect to:
Gain insights into national, state, and local mental health data - learning how suicide impacts specific groups, including veterans, first responders, LGBTQ+ populations, and youth;
Understand the pivotal role each one of us plays in suicide prevention, with practical strategies for recognizing signs of struggle and responding effectively;

Dr. Andrew Moon is a clinical psychologist with a career focus on trauma, suicide prevention, and education, who is currently the Senior Advisor for Partnerships, Engagement, and Education for the Department of Defense Suicide Prevention Office.
For All Seasons is your community Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center, providing therapy, psychiatry, advocacy, education, and outreach to individuals and families across the region.

The Avalon Foundation and the Talbot Spy have announced that the two organizations will collaborate on a community Town Hall meeting of candidates running for the mayor of Easton on April 16th at 6 pm at the Avalon Theatre to discuss issues facing our community.
Spy Columnist Craig Fuller has agreed to host the evening’s program. Mr. Fuller has been a resident of Talbot County for the last seven years. Prior to his arrival, he served four years in the White House as assistant to President Reagan for Cabinet Affairs, followed by four years as chief of staff to Vice President George H.W. Bush. He later was the CEO of public affairs firms and associations in Washington, D.C., before his retirement.

Session Americana is a band/collective of talented musicians craft a musical experience unlike any other.
On stage is a collapsible bar table wired with microphones, a vintage suitcase recast as a kick drum, an old Estey field organ, a pre-war parlor guitar, a mandocello and all of its smaller siblings, a harmonica case fire damaged when Jack’s bar went up in flames and graffitied by Depeche Mode roadies, and an assortment of other instruments that get passed around in this freewheeling modern hootenanny.
The anything-could-happen feel of a Session show depends on craft that’s not accidental or easily won; they bring a kind of ease and genuineness to this timeless music, sometimes presenting the latest batch of original songs, sometimes reaching back into depths of the American “song bag”.

It was an old recording of Mongo Santamaria doing a cover of The Beatles’ classic “Day Tripper” as an Afro-Cuban cha cha cha dance beat that inspired the birth of Los Day Trippers.
This unique and lively band started their musical journey at a neighborhood Mexican restaurant in 2018, striking a chord with generations of Beatles lovers while hitting a groove that drew from Latin music traditions like mambo, cumbia, cha cha cha, bossa nova, merengue, bolero, and others.
