SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!

Eastlake residents,

Santa has confirmed that he will do his annual ride through all of the streets in Eastlake on Saturday 12/21. He’ll be riding the Eastlake Police motorcycle, so it takes him much longer than when he is in his sled on Christmas. He’ll have to start early in the day to get to all of the streets in the city. We are working on the logistics of a Santa tracking app, so residents will be able to go online and track his progress towards your house. Keep an eye on this page, as we will post additional details as they become available.

This was the display 9 or 10 years ago before we made the house a gingerbread house. I think they were called the Christmas cheermasters this was long before covid. We were not home that evening but this ended up on their Facebook feed.

How many balloons do you think get used for the display each season? Guess below. Here's a hint, everyday weather permitting, I replace 10 to 15 balloons. Clark says I need better candy. I say the balloons really make it pop. (No pun intended ) Everyone knows a key to a good display is maintenance 😉

Someone asked what the inside looks like since we decorate the outside so big. Well I have multiple trees. One is Beach/ seashell themed. One is a peacock theme, the real Christmas tree is a Canaan fir that we bought Greig Christmas Tree Farm that has all of my childhood ornaments. My mom started a tradition with my brothers and I that we got a ornament each year as we were growing up so we had a full set to decorate our own personal trees when we moved out. I've continued this tradition with my son. So yes we are obsessed with Christmas here in this house #peppermintparadiseonlakehurstdrive
