Going to the gym once per year is definitely not going to help you lose weight, increase muscle mass, or improve cardiovascular health.💓

Going to the gym one time per month is not going to help you lose weight, increase muscle mass, or improve your cardiovascular health.💓

Going to the gym even one time per week is not going to help you lose weight, increase your muscle mass, or cardiovascular health.💓

That's because success takes time. 💯

In order to achieve your wellness goals, you need to commit to a consistent routine of going to the gym at least three to five times per week every week for a few months before you start to see any improvements. 🎯

The same is true for entrepreneurship. 🏆

So many people talk a big game, but very few are willing to put in the time, energy, investment, blood, sweat, and tears it takes to actually achieve their dreams. 💥

It's not easy. ☄️

It's not meant to be easy.☄️

If it was, more people would do it. ☄️

That's the beauty of entrepreneurship and that's what makes you stop unique.☄️

You get to be a part of the small minority that actually decides to take your own financial future into your hands.☄️

You get to build your business from the ground up. ☄️

You get to decide...☄️

WHO you want to be.☄️

WHAT you want to do.☄️

WHEN you want to do it.☄️

WHERE you want to do it.☄️

WHY you want to do it.☄️

AND

HOW much you want to get paid to do it.☄️

Your business is not going to build itself, though. 🔥

✨ Unless you're born inherently wealthy and have an exorbitant amount of money to pay someone to build it for you or your last name is Kardashian and you can just step into the family empire, you have to build it. (Kylie, you were not the youngest self-made billionaire. Sorry, not sorry.)✨

There are no shortcuts and there's no such thing as an overnight success story.🥇

🧩 Building a successful and sustainable online business takes commitment, time, energy, persistence, resilience, and confidence. ❤️‍🔥

How many people give up long before they hit their first milestone? ❓

Plenty. Plenty of people give up.‼️

Sadly, if they had just hung in there a little bit longer, I'm sure they would have seen their dreams come to fruition.❌

You may not realize this, but within you lies an incredible and unique set of gifts and talents, given to you by the Divine Creator upon entering this world. ✨

Your job is to acknowledge, accept, and hone in on your gifts and talents to enhance your own quality of life, but it doesn't stop there. 💖

You also have a Divine responsibility to share your unique gifts and talents with the world. 🙏

Your gifts and talents are the answers to someone else's prayers.🎀

In not sharing them, not only are you doing yourself a disservice, but you are actually withholding the light to the end of someone's dark tunnel.💥

I know you're just trying to be humble by staying on the sidelines and not truly showing up, but think about all of the people who really, really, need you, especially right now.🌟

There is nothing humble about withholding your gifts and talents from those that need them. 🌻

In truth, it is actually quite selfish to keep them to yourself. ✅

That's not what God intended when He bestowed them upon you.💯

You are here for a purpose far greater than you can ever imagine. 💡

I know you’re scared to explore what that looks like, but aren't you more scared of looking back on your life with regret?🔮

I sure as hell am.☄️

"Are you still doing that cute little online thing you started after you left that really good paying job you had?"

I simply let the passive aggressive comment go in one year and out the other. 🤷‍♀️

I didn't react. I didn't respond. I simply smiled.

💁‍♀️ That's how I roll now.

I don't allow anyone to put me down or make me feel less than.

I've been down that road and I'll be damned if I'm going to allow anyone, myself included, ever again to make me feel inferior because I've chosen to create my life by design and not default.

Now, I wasn't always this confident. 🫣

For much of my life up and even up to the age of 35, I struggled with my confidence. 🔥

There were plenty of years scattered in between when I didn't even like myself very much.

But that was then and this is now. 💥

I've been through hell and back and if the devil can't take me out, I'm sure as hell not going to allow anyone else - family, friends, or acquaintances - do it. 🔥

If you're not adding value to my life and cheering for me, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.💥

Moving forward, I only want to be around the people who bring out the best in me.🔥

The people who know what it's like to pursue a different path and to go against the status quo. 💥

The people who are so focused working on themselves that they have no time to criticize others just for the sake of criticizing them.

It always amazes me whenever someone meets me for the first time. ✨

Whether at the gym, the grocery store, or any other public place, the usual question I get asked is, “What do you do?” 🫱🏾🫲🏾

Rarely if ever do I get asked, “How are you?” or “Who are you?” 💗

Don't get me wrong. 💯

It's not that I mind because I'm very comfortable telling people what I do for a living, but it occurred to me the other day that as human beings we are so conditioned to identify ourselves by the work we do. ‼️

I'm guilty of asking other people the same question. ✅

It's almost as if we don't know how to interact with strangers unless we're talking strictly about something professional. 💼

As I was reflecting this morning on a recent conversation I had, I couldn't help but think about how many of us intertwine our personal identity with the kind of work we do. ⚡️

Led me to really think just how dangerous it is to have our identity wrapped up in the work we do and here's why… 🚨

I personally believe that it's dangerous to have our identity wrapped up in the work we do simply because at some point the work will cease to exist. ⛓️‍💥

If we don't have an identity outside of our work, what happens to us when we're no longer working? ⚙️

This is one of the reasons why so many retired people either go back to work or wind up feeling very lost or even depressed once they've stopped working. ⛔️

So what's the alternative? 💡

How do we maintain the balance between embodying what we do versus who we are? 🏆

I think it's a conversation worth having. 🔥
