That initial look at your newborn son or daughter—the way it felt to hold them for the very first time...

The day you met your best friend—someone you would share countless memories with and learn to lean on throughout the ups and downs life...

The day you met “your person”, an extension of yourself playing a role in your life so large you wouldn’t know how you ever managed without them...

Life is full of special relationships. And while some are fleeting, serving only a temporary purpose in our lives, others are built on a foundation so strong, we can depend on them for a lifetime.
In the 2020 spring edition of SHE, we are asking you to submit a high resolution picture of someone who has impacted your life, and a brief statement on how you met and what they mean to you.
Submissions can be emailed to [email protected] for consideration. Cut off for submissions is December 30.

How it all started...

SHE Magazine was the brainchild of Rust Communications Publisher Shelia Rouse Smith, who in 2006 saw a large need in the Dyer County community for a publication made exclusively for the benefit of female readers. Over the past 13 years since the release of the first edition, the readership for SHE has grown substantially, becoming a hometown favorite.
