South Carolina's good news!

From the mountains to the coast, it's been another great year for economic growth in South Carolina!

The Deputy Director of Global Business Development at the S.C. Department of Commerce gave a 2023 year in review at the Upstate SC Alliance Coffee and Conversations.

Here are some of our big takeaways.

- $7.7 billion in announced investment (as of November)
- 70 projects and 12,000 new jobs
- 67% are new projects, and 33% are expansions
- Automotive remains the largest single sector

Here in region the largest investments are:

ZF Transmissions $500,000,000 and 400 jobs
Nissin $228,000,000 and 300 jobs
Lima One Capital, LLC whose expansion brings 300 new jobs

Bring it on 2024. Our business landscape is as beautiful as it looks.
