How does the thief on the cross fit into your theology? No baptism, no communion, no confirmation, no speaking in tongues, no mission trip, no volunteerism, no financial gifts, and no church clothes. He couldn't even bend his knees to pray. He didn't say the sinner's prayer and among other things, he was a thief. Jesus didn't take way his pain, heal his body, or smite his scoffers. Yet, it was a thief who walked into paradise the same hour as Jesus simply by BELIEVING.

He had nothing more to offer other than his belief that Jesus was who He said He was. No spin from brilliant theologians. No ego or arrogance. No shiny lights, skinny jeans, or crafty words. No fog machine, donuts, or coffee in the lobby. Just a naked dying man on a cross unable to even fold his hands to pray. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever BELIEVES in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) That is the good news of the Gospel!

Young ladies, this is for you!!! 🤗
A woman arrived in a store wearing clothes that showed her body all too well. The shop owner, being a wise older man, took a good look at her, asked her to sit down, looked straight into her eyes, and said something she would never forget for the rest of her life.
“Young Lady, everything that God has made valuable in this world, is covered up and hard to see or find."
For example:
1. Where can you find diamonds?
• In the ground, covered and protected.
2. Where are the pearls?
• Deep in the ocean, covered and protected in a beautiful shell.
3. Where can you find gold?
• Underground, covered with layers of rock, and to get there you have to work very hard and dig deep.
He looked at her again and said, "Your body is sacred and unique to God."
You are far more precious than gold, diamonds, and pearls, therefore you must be covered too.
He then added: "If you keep your precious minerals like gold, diamonds, and pearls deeply covered, a “reputable mining organization” with the necessary machines, will work for years to mine those precious goods.
* First, they will contact your government (family),
* Second, sign professional contracts (marriage),
* Third, they will professionally extract those goods, and tenderly refine those precious goods. (marital life).
But if you let your minerals find themselves on top of the Earth's surface (exposed to everyone), you will always attract many illegal miners to come, exploit, illegally, and freely take those riches and leave you without the precious goods God gave you!
WOMEN, YOU ARE VALUABLE!! ❤

Stand firm in your Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!! He will hold you close! Nothing in this life can separate you from the Lord! Take time out of your day to speak with the Lord and stand against Satan and his Demons! The fire that the Lord started within you will not go away! Strive to be the person God has called you to be! not the person the world is trying to form you to be! Have a blessed day my brothers and sister in Christ Jesus

Are you the one stumbling? Well have faith in the Lord your God. He will not let you fall, the straight and narrow might be narrow. But, He will walk with you on it. You do not have to walk scared, you do not have to walk timid! you can run the path because the Lors your God stands with you if you are on it. Now be warned, God holds you in the palm of His hand and he will do so till the day He calls you home but, remember that God is not afraid to put you back in your place if you start to wander! Look to him for guidance! For the way of the Lord may not be easy but you will have peace, strength like no other and courage! Stand in the courage of God! Stand for the word of God! Stand up for the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the alpha and omega! He is the beginning and thee end! Be prepared for He is the one that lights the way!

You don't have to worry and don't you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning, troubles they don't last always
For there's a friend in Jesus, who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say:
"I know that i can make it
I know that i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
You don't have to worry and don't you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning, troubles they don't last always
For there's a friend in Jesus, who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say:
"I know that i can make it
I know that i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands
With Jesus i can take it
With him i know i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
So when the tests and trials, may seem to get you down
And all your friends and loved ones are nowhere to be found
Remember there's friend in Jesus, who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say
"I know that i can make it
I know that i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands
With Jesus i can take it
With him i know i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
"I know that i can make it
I know that i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands
With Jesus i can take it
With him i know i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
With Jesus i can take it
With him i know i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
"I know that i can make it
I know that i can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

God didn’t tell us the road would be easy but He did say He would always be there with us and that He goes before us!
I love my job and I love my life! Being a horse trainer and a coach is so so hard especially with the mind set people have these days. There are days I wake up and I am tired and I don’t feel like a can do it today but then I am reminded that, the Lord has already gone before me and has prepared the day and it’s up to me to choose to have a positive attitude and do what the Lord has called me to do even when I don’t feel like it! I am so thankful I had two parents that never let me quit what I started. I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to quit music because I didn’t enjoy it anymore or wasn’t improving fast enough or it was not fun or I wasn’t good yet. The amount of times I’ve thought maybe going to college and getting a degree and doing a normal person job would be easier but, I didn’t sign up for easy. God didn’t sign me up for easy. He called and I answered to the calling and the gifts He gave me. My parents never let their KID quit because they knew that the road of life is hard but the Lord goes before us! They never let me quit because I was a kid and I DID NOT KNOW what I wanted in life! They didn’t let me QUIT Because I was a little lazy as a kid because well, all kids are to a certain point! Things get hard, people hurt your feelings, you cry, you get mad, you get done with everything yet God has gone before you and He will see you through if you stay strong and not get weak and when you do, lean on Him for His strength!!

Press on and don’t quit just because it’s hard for a season of life! Don’t quit just because it isn’t fun for a season of life!! Nothing that’s worth going after is easy nor fun for a season or several seasons of life!! God bless and may the Lord be with you and trust Him to go before you!

I promised myself years ago, every time I saw this I would re-post. Rings true EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.... Here goes!!!

Most people won't take the time to read this all the way to the end. I hope that you will. 👇

17 INCHES" - you will not regret reading this an excellent article to read from beginning to end. Twenty years ago, in Nashville, Tennessee, during the first week of January, 1996, more than 4,000 baseball coaches descended upon the Opryland Hotel for the 52nd annual ABCA's convention.

While I waited in line to register with the hotel staff, I heard other more veteran coaches rumbling about the lineup of speakers scheduled to present during the weekend. One name kept resurfacing, always with the same sentiment — “John Scolinos is here? Oh, man, worth every penny of my airfare.”

Who is John Scolinos, I wondered. No matter; I was just happy to be there.

In 1996, Coach Scolinos was 78 years old and five years retired from a college coaching career that began in 1948. He shuffled to the stage to an impressive standing ovation, wearing dark polyester pants, a light blue shirt, and a string around his neck from which home plate hung — a full-sized, stark-white home plate.

Seriously, I wondered, who is this guy? After speaking for twenty-five minutes, not once mentioning the prop hanging around his neck, Coach Scolinos appeared to notice the snickering among some of the coaches. Even those who knew Coach Scolinos had to wonder exactly where he was going with this, or if he had simply forgotten about home plate since he’d gotten on stage. Then, finally …

“You’re probably all wondering why I’m wearing home plate around my neck,” he said, his voice growing irascible. I laughed along with the others, acknowledging the possibility. “I may be old, but I’m not crazy. The reason I stand before you today is to share with you baseball people what I’ve learned in my life, what I’ve learned about home plate in my 78 years.”

Several hands went up when Scolinos asked how many Little League coaches were in the room. “Do you know how wide home plate is in Little League?”

After a pause, someone offered, “Seventeen inches?”, more of a question than answer.

“That’s right,” he said. “How about in Babe Ruth’s day? Any Babe Ruth coaches in the house?” Another long pause.

“Seventeen inches?” a guess from another reluctant coach.
“That’s right,” said Scolinos. “Now, how many high school coaches do we have in the room?” Hundreds of hands shot up, as the pattern began to appear. “How wide is home plate in high school baseball?”

“Seventeen inches,” they said, sounding more confident.
“You’re right!” Scolinos barked. “And you college coaches, how wide is home plate in college?”

“Seventeen inches!” we said, in unison.
“Any Minor League coaches here? How wide is home plate in pro ball?”............“Seventeen inches!”

“RIGHT! And in the Major Leagues, how wide home plate is in the Major Leagues? “Seventeen inches!”

“SEV-EN-TEEN INCHES!” he confirmed, his voice bellowing off the walls. “And what do they do with a Big League pitcher who can’t throw the ball over seventeen inches?” Pause. “They send him to Pocatello !” he hollered, drawing raucous laughter. “What they don’t do is this: they don’t say, ‘Ah, that’s okay, Jimmy. If you can’t hit a seventeen-inch target? We’ll make it eighteen inches or nineteen inches. We’ll make it twenty inches so you have a better chance of hitting it. If you can’t hit that, let us know so we can make it wider still, say twenty-five inches.'”

Pause. “Coaches… what do we do when your best player shows up late to practice? or when our team rules forbid facial hair and a guy shows up unshaven? What if he gets caught drinking? Do we hold him accountable? Or do we change the rules to fit him? Do we widen home plate? "

The chuckles gradually faded as four thousand coaches grew quiet, the fog lifting as the old coach’s message began to unfold. He turned the plate toward himself and, using a Sharpie, began to draw something. When he turned it toward the crowd, point up, a house was revealed, complete with a freshly drawn door and two windows. “This is the problem in our homes today. With our marriages, with the way we parent our kids. With our discipline.
We don’t teach accountability to our kids, and there is no consequence for failing to meet standards. We just widen the plate!”

Pause. Then, to the point at the top of the house he added a small American flag. “This is the problem in our schools today. The quality of our education is going downhill fast and teachers have been stripped of the tools they need to be successful, and to educate and discipline our young people. We are allowing others to widen home plate! Where is that getting us?”

Silence. He replaced the flag with a Cross. “And this is the problem in the Church, where powerful people in positions of authority have taken advantage of young children, only to have such an atrocity swept under the rug for years. Our church leaders are widening home plate for themselves! And we allow it.”

“And the same is true with our government. Our so-called representatives make rules for us that don’t apply to themselves. They take bribes from lobbyists and foreign countries. They no longer serve us. And we allow them to widen home plate! We see our country falling into a dark abyss while we just watch.”

I was amazed. At a baseball convention where I expected to learn something about curve balls and bunting and how to run better practices, I had learned something far more valuable.
From an old man with home plate strung around his neck, I had learned something about life, about myself, about my own weaknesses and about my responsibilities as a leader. I had to hold myself and others accountable to that which I knew to be right, lest our families, our faith, and our society continue down an undesirable path.

“If I am lucky,” Coach Scolinos concluded, “you will remember one thing from this old coach today. It is this: "If we fail to hold ourselves to a higher standard, a standard of what we know to be right; if we fail to hold our spouses and our children to the same standards, if we are unwilling or unable to provide a consequence when they do not meet the standard; and if our schools & churches & our government fail to hold themselves accountable to those they serve, there is but one thing to look forward to …”

With that, he held home plate in front of his chest, turned it around, and revealed its dark black backside, “…We have dark days ahead!.”

Note: Coach Scolinos died in 2009 at the age of 91, but not before touching the lives of hundreds of players and coaches, including mine. Meeting him at my first ABCA convention kept me returning year after year, looking for similar wisdom and inspiration from other coaches. He is the best clinic speaker the ABCA has ever known because he was so much more than a baseball coach. His message was clear: “Coaches, keep your players—no matter how good they are—your own children, your churches, your government, and most of all, keep yourself at seventeen inches."

And this my friends is what our country has become and what is wrong with it today, and now go out there and fix it!

"Don't widen the plate."

Philippians 1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
Philippians 1:4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Philippians 1:5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
Philippians 1:8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
Philippians 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
Philippians 1:13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;
Philippians 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Philippians 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Philippians 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
Philippians 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
Philippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
Philippians 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Philippians 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
Philippians 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Philippians 1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
Philippians 1:25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
Philippians 1:26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Philippians 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Philippians 1:30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

Amen! Yes, Jesus help me love you, the way you love me!!! Did you know that Jesus Christ paid the ULTIMATE sacrifice??? Jesus Christ Died for our sins. Not just yesterday’s sins, but even the sins that we have not yet committed!!! If you listened to my video this morning, you heard me talk about how we are supposed to strive to be like Christ. Every day I pray and ask God to help me walk closer to him. But, DO I??? No, because I am not God, I am not Jesus Christ. If I lived a perfect life like Christ and never sinned there would be no reason for Christ to have Died on the Cross at Calvary. Because, if we could act like Christ, then we would have no sin and Jesus Christ would have been beaten and died on the CROSS for no reason. But because we are Human and we are NOT PERFECT, Christ has made it possible for us to live with him when we die. And it’s all because of GODS GRACE!!!! Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: have a blessed day my Brothers and sisters!!

Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given unto you; seek, and you WILL find; knock and it WILL be opened to you.

365 days ago today I came come once and for all. The Lord of Lords gave me His strength and gave me the words to say and a way home, He gave me the strength to stand on His Holy word and find my way back to Him. If you would have asked me three years ago if I would have ever considered joining the LDS faith I would have said BigBig no, two years ago if you would have asked me that I would had say maybe. And now, that question just hurts my heart! “NO! My God is so much bigger and so much better!” Abba Father you are my all in all, my three in one, my Lord of my life and the Light of the world. God you gave me a new heart for the LDS church and made me a completely new creation in you! You know when I came home 365 days ago I didn’t know what was going to happen, I was NOT MYSELF! I didn’t know what was of God and what wasn’t anymore. I had so many evil Sprits trying to tear me down and take me back to the darkness but our God is a victorious God, and He does NOT FAIL!! God kept putting me where I needed to be. He took me to Florida to be with Adams Road Ministry. To teach me and help me heal in the love of Christ! I am forever thankful to them. They helped my mom and I understand both sides where we could have compassion for one another again and, start healing our relationship. I was the true prodigal daughter that completely turned away from everything she knew and loved. The truth in the Jesus I had grown up knowing and started to believe in a fake jesus and god and, let me tell you it is not the same as ours. God performed a miracle and brought me home and turned me into a creation of His very own to go and proclaim the Gospel Of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!! What a honor and blessing it is to get to say I am a Child of the most high King!! Here’s to one year home and many many more! To proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus, showing the love of Christ to all that are lost, having the Agape love of Christ and helping the world understand the true Jesus of the Bible from false teachings! May God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you!! We serve such a incredible God! Never doubt that God does not love you and that His Grace is not enough for you! Because it is and it always will be. Grace is Gods unearned favor toward us! For you are saved by Grace my friends! Call upon the name of the Lord and thou shall be saved! Agape to you all!💕✝️🙏🏼
