Blessed to have the opportunity to weigh in on the histrionics of what was supposed to be a “Benediction” that turned into a shameful embarrassment to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, on of all days ! Support who you want however the cognitive dissonance involved in the notion that Dr. King’s “I have a dream” speech; given not only what he LIVED for but more importantly what he ultimately was MURDERED for; would be evoked in such a debasing manner is antithetical to anything that #47 espouses or stands for. We deserve better for our people and for the cause of justice. Thanks and for allowing me on this platform to express what many black people and just decent people feel was a disservice to the legacy of Dr. King. #2025
