I appreciate all the support that you guys had given “The Gem’s Of Detroit Podcast” so far. I even thank the ones who don’t show support. Our shows get better every week, and it keep opening doors. Not only for us, but relationships have been build from this podcast, and knowledge has been dripping out every week, from our Detroit community. This week, on March 27th Detroit male entrepreneurs will be in the building, we got; Dennis AnimatedFresh Jr. (Top Drawer), Will Thompson (Retro Black), and Dalonte - Felicia Sheppard (Out Of Pocket). We get two see what the guys are up too. Then on April 3rd with “Homegirls Hookah” (Derek Nesbitt Ajee' Shorter Kiana Floyd and Tia Sanae) will grace us, and talk to us about their new venture and their friendship. On April 10th with will have the admins from the Facebook group “Business Women In Detroit” (Andrea Lorena Thompson). So tune into “The Gem’s of Detroit Podcast” page. See you guys on Sunday.

But I’ll be back next week for the show everybody should tune in to, if you’re starting a business, need information on how to get funding for your business, paperwork for your business, and the necessary steps to keep everything flowing for your business. I will have a special guest cohost that week, and it will be Derek Nesbitt, which is also my niece. She is 27 year’s old, and probably has more successful business than an adult entrepreneur. As for our guest, we have two of best business consultants in the game…, we got; Tameka Stewart of “Mz. Business Builder” and Damon Thompson of “Thompson Business Services LLC”, and lastly we have a virtual guest sister Mrs. Candace Walls of “Candace Walls Beauty Beauty Bling”. She gonna talk to us about how she moved away from Detroit to Texas and started a successful hair salon, and retired from there at a young age and started a very successful $5 jewelry company in Texas. As you know, The Gem’s of Detroit live to highlight and put the spotlight on our hidden gem’s weekly. We think it’s so many dope folks with this dope Detroit DNA, that they need to be honor weekly, and not yearly. So if you know someone that can fit in any category, that should be recognized, please send us an inbox. We decided to do a “Gem’s of the year” award, for those who won one of the weekly awards.
This week, we only got two winner’s. The winner for “Hidden Entrepreneur of the Week” goes out to Lisa L Carter, for her business, “Lisa’s Handbag’s and Accessories”. We’ve sat back and watch her work continuous magic her business. She put in countless hours promoting her business, and delivering products. And if you know me, you know I’m a fan of great customer service. And I’ve watch the appreciation of her business from her customers. So congratulations .
Next, the winner for “Hidden Mentor of the Week, goes to Rashad Gibson aka Shadie Bee. We love to honor real mentors who’s really cares about his community and those who are in the community. He’s the President of the “DownRiver Cobras” youth organization. He’s a great family man. Not only has he structured his program for youth sports. But give all the kid’s the tools of life, such as; tutoring, survival skills, camping and fishing and so much more. Congratulations.
