The stuff that dreams are made of! We’ve admired the work of American jewelry designer, Carrie Rhea, for quite some time. Suddenly, the office door opens and the sweetest little surprise gift .rhea.designs package appeared, filled with custom abalone shell and gold bead SCOUT necklaces and gorgeous pearl earrings for our editors!

Our guiding mission is to support local movers, shakers and makers, specifically those who proudly hand-make their products right here in the good ole USA.

Speaking of thanks…I truly could not have pulled off Volume 2 without my support Krewe: my hubby, co-editor/partner-in-fun mom, my grandmother and my dad!

My sweet husband helped me navigate the reality of being a brand new mom, while simultaneously juggling photo shoots and publishing deadlines, with little to no sleep. Mom was my rock, my cheerleader and my biggest supporter through it all. Grammie was there daily, during the design phase, helping me with Blake, while Mom and I brought the Guide to life. Dad was there with us, to help every step of the way.
