WHAM BAM, THAT'S BITLY MAN!

What does the "simplify button" for the web storefront look like?

Enter Bitly, a comprehensive suite of tools designed to make building a cohesive online presence a snap.

When first approached SPILLT with their foray into "motion explainer-ville," there were lots of ideas flying around. Their product is loaded with features, analytics, and an inherent simplicity, the hardest part was explaining everything in 30 seconds.

This is a perfect example of how SPILLT can help develop motion systems for brands that have a strong identity but it isn't yet animated. From type animation logic exploration to the hierarchy of the connection thread, we set out to build guidelines for how their new identity system could move and continue to build on their brand promise.

From beginning to end, our goal was to help Bitly make all the connections through smart animation and the emotional connection of real-use scenarios all wrapped in a delightful package.

We’re thrilled to welcome Lizbeth C. (Liz) to the Spillt team as our new Senior Producer!

With over 7 years of experience in animation and editorial post-production, plus almost a decade in digital and social media marketing, Liz brings a wealth of experience from working with clients like Oral B, Hasbro, Triscuits, and Downy Still Fresh.

She also led her own Telly award-winning animation studio where she honed her skills as a producer in building relationships and pitching to clients, while delivering projects on time and under budget. She also post-produced a couple documentaries that were showcased at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, highlighting her talent for storytelling and collaboration.

🏈 ✨ Engage the “Fan-Favorite” Overdrive! 🏈 ✨

SPILLT teamed up with Spectrum Business to produce a campaign launching their new Sports Fan TV package. Because using generic stock footage wouldn’t cut it, we scripted and shot aspirational scenes featuring patrons and fans.

The creative SPILLT developed included highly engaging TV, digital/social, and installation ads.

The results? A game-changing touchdown for small business subscriptions leading to a second ad buy 💥 🚀

Fall is officially Sports Fan TV season.

Have you tried the Snozzberry™, triple maple-centrifuge infused juicy, hazy IPA yet?

That hypothetical beer headline demonstrates how crazy marketing an IPA these days can be. Insane flavors, crazy characters, and psychedelic advertising to try and catch someone's attention.

Lots of gimmicks & hyperbole instead of a delicious hook. YUCK!

Then https://buff.ly/3TG6juu approached us with their "JUST IPA" campaign, and the idea of using CG liquids, we knew instantly that sticking with the tried and true was the way to let it flow.

The final result is a full blown thirst trap... visually and audibly.

OK, SMARTY, LET'S GO PARTY! AH, AH, AH YEAH!

No, we didn't write the triumphant follow-up to that, ahem, infectious earworm song, Barbie Girl. (now you're singing it... you're welcome).

We did, however, partner with Honeymoon to create a wonderfully catchy campaign for SmartyPants Vitamins wrapped in a bespoke song. SPILLT was involved early on, pitching the idea of capturing a library of cute SMARTY PANTS kids instead of leaning into stock options, which allowed us to curate, coach, and capture the perfect kids and actions for this campaign... and beyond.

Armed with extremely engaging live-action assets, our team also developed a motion system to bring Athena the Owl to life, a type system to match the playful tone, and vibrant composites showcasing the benefits of SMARTY PANTS vitamins. As a cherry on top, SPILLT worked closely with HONEY MOON and Coupe Studios to develop the catchy tune for CHEER. By injecting attitude visually and sonically, we helped a brand heavily based on science offer an emotional hook sure to drive engagement.

The campaign featured three main concepts that were then rippled into every imaginable aspect ratio and sent into all the social and digital realms. The data rolling in shows millions and millions of impressions, click-throughs, and outperforming all benchmarks on every platform.

Actually, we think it is a SMARTY WORLD instead- no offense Barbie.

What stops viewers from hitting SKIP INTRO on their favorite show?

SPILLT’s answer is a sweet science mixed of equal parts storytelling, viewer logic, and some good old-fashioned emotional manipulation. As a studio, we view title sequences through a rigid rubrick of 3 simple questions:

• What's the show's singular THEME?
• What TONE are we setting?
• What RESPONSE do we want?

For LOW COUNTRY: The Murdaugh Dynasty, we teased the mystery with lingering shots and quick flashes, embedding clues to reward eagle-eyed viewers.

The inaugural partnership with the wonderful teams at Work In Progress and Sling TV spotlights the upcoming NBA Finals kicking off next week. With defending champions Denver Nuggets as our home team, we we pumped to amplify and celebrate the excitement of the event.

Ultimately, we employed bold text, sophisticated visuals, and dynamic camera angles to breathe life into this spot, resulting in an absolutely flawless outcome.

We love partnering with series and documentary productions. Our role as the design partner is to create a visually stunning experience that enhances the incredible storytelling.

It's remarkable how impactful certain projects become, especially when they touch upon significant cultural events and stories.

Nearly 6 years ago one of our first doc-u-series was for Netflix Remastered series, with an episode specifically focusing on Jam Master Jay's tragic murder.

The fact that justice has finally been served after 22 years is not only a testament to the persistence and dedication of those involved in solving the case but also brings a sense of closure and relief to Jam Master Jay's family, loved ones and fans. It's moments like these that underscore the importance of the work we do and the power of storytelling to shed light on important issues and bring about change.

Here's to the continued pursuit of meaningful storytelling and the hope for justice and closure in all cases.
