Enter Bitly, a comprehensive suite of tools designed to make building a cohesive online presence a snap.
When @Bitly first approached SPILLT with their foray into "motion explainer-ville," there were lots of ideas flying around. Their product is loaded with features, analytics, and an inherent simplicity, the hardest part was explaining everything in 30 seconds.
This is a perfect example of how SPILLT can help develop motion systems for brands that have a strong identity but it isn't yet animated. From type animation logic exploration to the hierarchy of the connection thread, we set out to build guidelines for how their new identity system could move and continue to build on their brand promise.
From beginning to end, our goal was to help Bitly make all the connections through smart animation and the emotional connection of real-use scenarios all wrapped in a delightful package.

SPILLT teamed up with Spectrum Business to produce a campaign launching their new Sports Fan TV package. Because using generic stock footage wouldn’t cut it, we scripted and shot aspirational scenes featuring patrons and fans.
The creative SPILLT developed included highly engaging TV, digital/social, and installation ads.
The results? A game-changing touchdown for small business subscriptions leading to a second ad buy 💥 🚀

Have you tried the Snozzberry™, triple maple-centrifuge infused juicy, hazy IPA yet?
That hypothetical beer headline demonstrates how crazy marketing an IPA these days can be. Insane flavors, crazy characters, and psychedelic advertising to try and catch someone's attention.
Lots of gimmicks & hyperbole instead of a delicious hook. YUCK!
Then https://buff.ly/3TG6juu approached us with their "JUST IPA" campaign, and the idea of using CG liquids, we knew instantly that sticking with the tried and true was the way to let it flow.
The final result is a full blown thirst trap... visually and audibly.

OK, SMARTY, LET'S GO PARTY! AH, AH, AH YEAH!
No, we didn't write the triumphant follow-up to that, ahem, infectious earworm song, Barbie Girl. (now you're singing it... you're welcome).
We did, however, partner with Honeymoon to create a wonderfully catchy campaign for SmartyPants Vitamins wrapped in a bespoke song. SPILLT was involved early on, pitching the idea of capturing a library of cute SMARTY PANTS kids instead of leaning into stock options, which allowed us to curate, coach, and capture the perfect kids and actions for this campaign... and beyond.
Armed with extremely engaging live-action assets, our team also developed a motion system to bring Athena the Owl to life, a type system to match the playful tone, and vibrant composites showcasing the benefits of SMARTY PANTS vitamins. As a cherry on top, SPILLT worked closely with HONEY MOON and Coupe Studios to develop the catchy tune for CHEER. By injecting attitude visually and sonically, we helped a brand heavily based on science offer an emotional hook sure to drive engagement.
The campaign featured three main concepts that were then rippled into every imaginable aspect ratio and sent into all the social and digital realms. The data rolling in shows millions and millions of impressions, click-throughs, and outperforming all benchmarks on every platform.
Actually, we think it is a SMARTY WORLD instead- no offense Barbie.
