Please join us Week IV of Summer in the Rockies at The Colorado Horse Park for a truly special event ….The Pro JR/AM 3’ Equitation Challenge benefiting Quincy Rohrbach and Osteosarcoma Research. 💛🌻💛

The class will be held Saturday, July 8th at 5:00 PM in the Olson Family Arena (changed from original schedule in the Coors). 🔜
Starting at 6:00 PM there will be a party, on the berm hosted by Hidden Pines- Dana Vollbracht and Kristina Matthews & Company at Keller Williams, with light Mexican fair along with beer/wine for only $1.00. DJ starts at 7:00. 🎤🌮🍺
There will also be an auction to benefit Quincy’s Bucket List. Featured items include; 1 Week in Cancun Mexico, $1,000 Shipping credit with Runamok Shipping, 2 Week Stall in Thermal, CA, 4 Broncos Tickets, 4 Rockies Tickets and many more fabulous items. 🎟️☀️⚾️🏈🚚
Friday night during the International Derby there will be a Calcutta where folks can bid on their favorite team. 🏆

FAQ:

✅ Entry fee for team is $150.00 ($75 per person) all proceeds will go to Quincy’s Angel Link fund.
✅ Teams consist of 1 professional and 1 JR or AM. Both will ride the same horse
and the top 10 JR or AM riders will be tested. Class is 3’.
✅ Professional riders can ride multiple horses, but JR/AM may ride only one horse as they could be tested.
✅ Prizes 1st-10th. Including but not limited to: custom LM Boots, coolers, gift cards, Voltaire Tack, Spa Services, horse treats, spur straps & Millbrook Shirts.
✅ You must enter the show to be eligible. If you are only coming for that class the show won’t charge the service fee, but you will need to pay the USEF fees (that’s a USEF requirement). You MUST have all the necessary health certificates!!!
✅ Stalls can be available for the one day (Saturday only) for $75. If someone wants a stall for the weekend they will need to pay the regular stall fee. The show needs to know ASAP if a stall is needed.
✅ You do not have to ride to enter. If you wish to donate the $75 per person. You will be eligible for select prizes as names will be called randomly.

Brittany Stewart of Lynwood Training now offering specialized training of young and green horses as well as problematic & horses needing rehabbing. Located at at P2 Equestrian Center in Elizabeth, CO.
Brittany has been riding for over 30+ and has shown on the “A” Show Circuit in Colorado and throughout the west. Riding with the likes of Paul Rohrbach and Charlie Dennehy, Brittany has won multiple championships in all three rings, including medal finals at Capital Challenge and the Amateur Jumpers.
Brittany specializes in training young horses as well as horses needing rehabbing and problematic horses that are in need of a more detail oriented program. Ideally, horses would come into the facility for 3-6 months and graduate to go forward with their initial training program, returning back to their original trainer and show barn.

As everyone has heard by now there is an active theft ring targeting Colorado barns. These thieves have been quite successful with little to no police intervention. Police do suspect it is multiple people, if not dozens of people involved. They come in ride share vehicles, rented cars, stolen vehicles…even cars with no plates. These folks are brazen and have been caught breaking windows of cars taking anything they can get their hands on. They have stolen saddles and tack and even a trailer. It is NO JOKE! Please take all personal belongings in with you and lock in your trunk. Also, in nice weather leave windows rolled down. They have alluded the police and are known to come in broad daylight with people and dogs present. They will even follows clients through a gate.

Help prevent theft until these people can be apprehended.

✅ Report anyone that does not belong on the property.
✅ Don’t hesitate to call police.
✅ Do not approach these people.
✅ Leave windows down when weather permits.

🚨NEWS ALERT 🚨

Langer Equestrian Group and Littleton Equine Medical Center have partnered to help raise funds to support osteosarcoma research as well as donate to Quincy Rohrbach’s “Bucket List.” Starting with the May shows $25.00 will be donated to Quincy’s Angel List account for every clear round in qualifying jumper classes and for every 80 or above in qualifying hunter classes.

In June 2022, Quincy Rohrbach, a 19 year-old recent high school graduate, received news that no one ever hopes to get. After landing on her shoulder during a seemingly minor fall off of her horse, Quincy’s shoulder continued to bother her and cause her pain. Quincy went in to see her orthopedic doctor and he requested X-rays of her shoulder. Those X-rays revealed that she had a bone tumor in the humerus bone of her right upper arm. After undergoing a biopsy of that bone and a PET scan, Quincy was diagnosed with stage 4 osteosarcoma that had metastasized to her lungs. Osteosarcoma is a rare form of bone cancer that occurs primarily in young children and late adolescents with only 1,000 new cases diagnosed in the United States each year.
Quincy began intensive chemotherapy in July 2022.

The summer shows at the Colorado Horse Park will also feature a Pro -JR/AM Equitation Classic where all entry fees will go directly to the cause. Incredible prizes will also be offered for 1st-8th place.
