We’ve had a cool week so far. To start the week,
Project Pinball Charity asked us to swing down to Colorado Springs and pick up this Time Warp. Donated from Mike after having it and moving with it for 30 years serving in the Air Force.
Mike said he’s excited to see where this ends up! We are too!

Stern John Wick Premium that is also accessible.
We’re bringing Universal Design to pinball, for the disabled community, kids and people with mobility challenges.
People have done a Sip ‘N Puff controller for their pinball machines before. We’re just gonna make it a bit more universal. With no need to damage the cabinet. Responsive enough to bump pass, and catch and play a multiball!
We have 5 basic designs now. And they all plug in to the same port. None of them damage the game or cabinet. All of them play “you’re up next,” and don’t take over the machine in any way.
And in a crowded Locavore Beer Works last night, this happened.

When this journey started we knew we wanted to have an impact in lives, but we had no idea what we were doing would be welcomed by so many and how quickly it would find it's way into so many lives. Inclusive GameWerks controllers are now in 3 different Children's Hospitals!
This part of our journey started here in Colorado after meeting Daniel from @project_pinball_charity Right away we knew our connection could be strong, powerful and impactful. The first machine with a controller was Iron Man at @childrenscolo and that experience alone was one that overflowed our hearts with joy.
This relationship recently took us to Chicago where we met even more people that are excited to see inclusivity being brought to the world of pinball. There we handed off a few more controllers to project pinball to deliver to new homes. They then set up a @sternpinball Jurassic Park machine at @luriechildrens @5280makers helped make a custom theme on the controller that really made it stand out! And to top it all off the man himself Gary Stren was there for the dedication and played a few rounds on the controller! If that wasn't enough the journey continued as Project Pinball headed out to @cincychildrens And guess what they brought with them? Yep that's right another Inclusive GameWerks controller! This one went on a World Cup machine and there is going to be some serious fun had there!
This has filled our hearts with so much joy knowing that any child, family member or staff of the hospital could enjoy pinball together no matter what their health status is. Being on this journey is more than words can say. Having to fight daily with health struggles, insurance, unknown diagnoses, testing, losing functions you once had and so much more will cause any person to feel helpless. Our hope is that these controllers will give joy, hope and happy memories in the sometimes dark storms of life.
While we are just starting this amazing journey and someday it's unclear of where we will go next,
It was a pleasure to meet Gary Stern at Pinball Expo. Our convo told us you’re not done yet and inclusion is of course on the table for Stern Pinball. We appreciate you so much. We’re not done yet either!
Turns out the time it takes for ripples to hit the shore line could be shorter than you think.
Being inclusive is in all of our hearts.
Sometimes it helps to be reminded of that.
