International Subscriber Update -

01/03/2021

We wanted to respond once again to our international subscribers. We understand your frustration. We have had a difficult time this year getting product delivered outside the U.S. because of issues with the postal service, and this holiday season even some shipments within the states have been delayed. We've explained that issue #83 remains "significantly delayed," according to the postal service, and that we held issue #84 to make sure we didn't have the same delivery problems with it.

The fact that some of you have received catalogs and some haven't is the crux of the problem. Catalogs were mailed not just to promote our holiday offerings, but to see how reliable the postal service is at this point in the pandemic. They were mailed prior to Thanksgiving, and as customers in prior responses here have noted, some have received them and some have not—over a month after they mailed out. Some customers in our own state haven't received them, nor have we received the copy we mail to ourselves from the post office less than two miles away.

Our customer service staff spent the last week returning voicemails and emails from customers regarding orders that have not been delivered. Although we held issue #84 until we identified a more reliable way to get it to international subscribers, we plan to mail it soon. Issue #85 should be following not long after.

Our magazine staff took a break from working on TRJ #85 to help them get caught up. We are still working through those messages and emails, so if you've contacted us at the office you should be hearing back from someone this week. If you haven't contacted us at the office but would like to discuss your order, you can reach us at 804-496-6906 or [email protected].

Again, we hear the frustration expressed by those who haven't received their magazines or gotten a response from our customers service. We are doing our best to get caught up and resolve any issues as we kick off the new year.

Sincerely,
The Rodder's Journal Team

Ahhhh yes! Is there a better feeling than popping the seal and getting that new car magazine smell from a fresh The Rodder's Journal ? Maybe later tonight when I pour myself a whiskey and read it. If your not subscribing what are you even doing with your life?
