Got to show some love to my awesome beautiful wife Jessica. She sat in a ladder stand this morning and this evening in the pouring down rain just for a chance at this buck. At 5:00 this evening he presented the chance and she made a perfect shot with her new Tikka 270. I could not be more proud of her and hopefully this is just the start of an awesome season. Update on yesterday evenings hunt. Was able to harvest my first buck of the season 10 minutes before the end of shooting light he stepped out in the Backwoods Premium Wildlife Products Dixie 6 plot. Nose Down Scents Elim8 fresh dirt spray was an important part of this hunt. He came out down wind but never knew I was there. Let’s keep the train rolling through the season and Goodluck to everyone else who is enjoying gods creation and beautiful weather.
