As the sun sets on the last day of Louisiana rifle season and probably my last hunt in Louisiana for the year. I feel it’s a great time to reflect on what was a very trying and difficult season for me
But a blessed season for my family as a whole. I want to thank all my followers of my page who kept up through this hunting season and also thank the great company’s that support me and help me succeed at these hobbies that I have obsessed about since I was a little boy. Still have a couple more days to hunt in Mississippi and the sun hasn’t set in Louisiana just yet. Just because deer season is winding down don’t mean this page is going to get stagnant. First sit of this season on the river bank. I planted this spot this season with Backwoods Premium Wildlife Products Dixie 6 and was hesitant with the soil being sand and river silt. Did not do a soil sample just Dixie 6 and some forage boosts fertilizer just like the directions say and it definitely far exceeded my expectations for this type of soil. I’m telling y’all no matter the soil or the spot backwoods has something for it be sure to check them out for 25/26 season The Outpost Feed & Outdoors LLC

Spending the first day of 2025 in a tree on a cool morning watching the sun rise. Last year was a blessing to me and my family and I’m hoping this year brings many more. Happy new years to everyone. Been a while since I’ve posted because the season has not been going the way I wanted too. Swung and missed on 2 bucks and a bobcat with my 7mm. Checked the gun and it is on so not sure what is going on. Swapped to my 300 win mag to maybe change my luck and was able to drop this Backwoods Premium Wildlife Products thief at 100 yards. Maybe things will pick up soon and you will see more post. If not maybe the ole bass cat will make an early comeback and I will go swing on a few bass with some Swampro Lures soon.
