Teddy Wilson, “Mr Wilson and Mr. Gershwin”released in 1959 by Columbia. Found this at local Thrift store for $2. Not Familiar with Teddy but I was drawn to the cover. The Record is in incredible shape. Cover is VG, Record is VG+. The music is beautiful highlighting impeccable skill by Mr. Wilson and His Trio! Love this One! I feel like I need to dressed up and eating expensive Food at a Supper Club somewhere listening to this one! I’m glad I picked this one up!!

Good morning from Graceland! Something I see often being a Memphis local…..it is a treasured Memphis Landmark to me! I thought some record collectors might appreciate the current view. Elvis and other family members are buried here behind the house to the right.  it is a beautiful place. Across the street is a museum with many of his cars and lots of movie and concert memorabilia. Lots of history.

Christmas vinyl spin. A classic Christmas album of The Carpenters.. A Christmas point released in 1978 by A&M records. Nothing says Christmas, like the brother sister duo, Richard and Karen Carpenter. Super talented with wonderful harmonies. Their sound never grows old. Classic!

Christmas Eve Vinyl Spin, Bing Crosby’s, White Christmas released by Decca Records in 1945 initially, and re-issued several times. The song White Christmas was written by Irving Berlin and featured in the Movie “Holiday Inn” and later in “White Christmas” both starring Bing. It is probably the most famous Christmas Song ever and bestselling too. (This is debated by some) It speaks Christmas to me. Very Nostagic. I found this LP at a thrift store recently for $1.00. Merry Christmas all!

Reba Rambo, “The Lady is a Child” released in 1978 on Greentree Label! “I’m a Child of the Music Maker”. I purchased this album when I was in high school. I recorded it and played it on tape in my 1974 yellow Volkswagen beetle with the volume high and the windows down. I was criticized for playing that wild music. Ha ha. Not sure what happened to my album and I’ve been looking to replace it for a while. Finally this week it came up on eBay. Couldn’t order it fast enough. Playing it this morning and I’m still in love with it. It speaks to me! #still relevant

Vinyl Spin, Elton John’s “Madness Across the Water” released in 1971. My 2 favorites on this Album, “Levon” and “Tiny Dancer”

Carly Simon’s “No Secrets” released in 1972. This album has her trademark song, “You’re so vain” which was one of the first 45 records I ever bought.

Gary Puckett & The Union Gap “Lady Willpower” released in 1968. Very nostalgic LP for me.
