Hello Ladies,
It’s been a while and so many changes in our lives. I pray you all are being safe and staying healthy.
I spoke with the mini board and we’ve decide to bypass having the Symposium this year and returning in 2022 due to Covid.
We are looking to come back bigger and better next year as we will start our planning now.
I miss you guys and look forward to next year any suggestion please let me know or just inbox.

The Total Woman’s Symposium will be Celebrating it’s 5th Anniversary this year, and we’ll taking it to the sea, November 15-18 2019. The weekend before the Florida Classic. All are welcome

We will resume registration on May 21st, the deposit is 100.00 to secure your cabin and the balance is due on August 31, 2019. When you call to register make sure you have your roommate.

Total Woman’s Symposium 2019, 5th Anniversary Celebration this will be an exciting event. Speakers will be announced on the next flyer. THE FLORIDA CLASSIC IS November 23rd this year so we’re not interfering so grab your cabin mate and get signed up. 13 of the 30 cabins have been taken. She has used that same tenacity to become a successful business woman, coach, and mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners who need to relaunch or save their current businesses. Her passion is working with individuals who do not have access to major resources. Natasha has worked with entrepreneurs in various fields including restaurants, child care centers, criminal justice, cosmetics, publishing, fashion, tutoring, event planning, and more. Karla Ann McNish, M.D., has earned the designation of Certified Wound Specialist Physician® (CWSP®) of the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM), joining an elite group of healthcare professionals involved in wound management.

Board certification in wound management is achieved only through a rigorous process by the ABWM. Those who become certified in wound management through the ABWM may earn the professional designation of CWSP®.

Developed specifically for physicians, this board certification is a formal recognition of a master level knowledge and specialty practice in wound management. Obtaining this certification demonstrates a physician’s dedication to the highest standards of wound care, which is essential in the development of a comprehensive wound management program. Physicians with three or more years of clinical wound care experience are eligible for the certification.

A graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta , Dr. McNish specializes in family medicine, having been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2015. She began her career at Halifax Health as a family medicine resident in 2007 and was a winner of the residency program’s Gillespy Award, which is presented annually by the hospital’s nurses to family medicine residents who exemplify the characteristics of a caring physician.

From 2010 to 2017, Dr. McNish served as the primary care provider for Halifax Health’s community clinic. In 2014, she earned her first wound care certification from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy. Currently, she provides physician services for Halifax Health Medical Center ’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy programs in the Halifax Health - Center for Advanced Wound Healing.

The Halifax Health - Center for Advanced Wound Healing features three Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers. Treatment modalities available include: patient and wound assessment; measurement and photographic documentation; initial and ongoing reports to primary care physician; debridement to aid in the removal of infected, damaged or dead tissue by surgical or alternative means; laboratory and vascular evaluation; advanced biological grafts; advanced wound dressings; prosthetic and pressure relief assistance; Vacuum Assisted Closure® and Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy.
