On this All Hallows' Eve, we're excited to share our short film "Reel Retribution". It will be livestreaming on our platform as well as youtube starting at midnight, featuring outtakes, extras, and behind-the-scenes footage from the production. The film is set in a local Dayton historical landmark. The program will loop at the top of every hour, so you can enjoy it throughout the weekend. 🎬 This week, Sarah Bennett, our Director of Photography at WeDoVids, had the exciting opportunity to speak about her experience leveraging resources to
enhance both her business and personal life. American Business Women's Association- Gem City, hosted this inspiring event at the Valley Business Solutions Center.
Sarah’s journey is a testament to the power of creativity and resilience. Growing up in poverty, she used her resourcefulness to surpass her dreams and goals.
After experiencing a prolonged depression in 2018, she was encouraged to engage in service work to refocus her thoughts and energy. Volunteering her marketing
photography skills to a local non-profit, led to her facilitating a program called "Getting Ahead In a Just Gettin' by World."
This experience, which involved studying the causes of poverty in addition to conducting self and community assessments, inspired her to take meaningful action.
Today, Sarah is passionate about bridging the gap between those in need and the resources they require to thrive. She emphasizes that inadequacy is not just a
financial issue—it encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual health, as well as the presence of positive relationships and trustworthy mentors. Sarah highlights that the most valuable asset in overcoming challenges is "social capital", or simply put "relationships".

Her presentation was a powerful reminder that these insights can benefit individuals from all financial backgrounds, fostering a community where everyone can prosper.
