32 Lessons I have learned in my 32 years:
1.)Faith without works is dead but works without faith is deadly.
2.)Other people's opinions of me are none of my business.
3.)I answer to & belong to a higher government than what is ruling my country.
4.)Find out for yourself what you believe & why you believe it or your faith is not your own.
5.)Truth & righteousness outweigh goodness.
6.)Contentment is a daily choice.
7.)Let your light shine before others. It is always worth it!
8.)A relationship with your Creator leads to a better relationship with yourself & others.
9.)I am not enough in my own strength to be everything at all times & that is okay. This fact causes me to fully rely on God.
10.)Seek peace, not balance.
11.)My children are their own persons.
12.)My husband is my best friend, not someone to control.
13.)Love is not love. God is Love.
14.)Rest is a gift and an opportunity for healing and growth, not a burden.
15.)I have the power to build up my home or to tear it down. If I find myself tearing it down, I can immediately stop & reset my heart. I don't have to wait until tomorrow.
16.)My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is worth taking care of!
17.)It's not enough to know that the broccoli is better for me, I must eat it too.
18.)Less IS often more!
19.)Shopping, eating, or doing something fun on a whim can't fix emotional pain.
20.)You will never be too old to learn new tricks.
21.)I'm not for everyone. Everyone is not for me. And that is okay.
22.)God doesn't fit in our boxes.
23.)Your health is worth investing in.
24.)People come and go. Sometimes in seasons! The Lord never leaves. Let His love be enough.
25.)Admitting you were wrong & asking forgiveness takes strength.
26.)Sometimes physical action prompts our hearts and minds to follow.
27.)I don't need all the parenting books to tell me how to raise my children. God made me with instincts worth following. He sets the perfect parenting example.
28.)I will never meet everyone's approval. The only one I need is God's.
29.)Research everything.
30.)If your jeans don't fit, buy new ones. 💜
31.)Christian Fellowship is essential.
32.) Joy is cultivated.
