Back to Basics with Krystal Getting back to the basics. I guess you can say we traded our country club life for the country life. Around 3 years ago we started down a homesteading path.

I am a Christian Wife, Mom, Foodie, and Homesteader in training. 6 years ago we moved from our suburban home in a golf course community to 36 acres in the middle of nowhere. I began raising a garden, chickens, learned to make soap, and even cook food from scratch. Our homesteading journey is ever evolving and progressing. And along the way we’ve made some mistakes, had failures, successes, heartache, and lots of hilarious moments.
