What’s the greatest compliment a DJ can receive? Is it a glowing five-star review? A generous tip that’s nearly a third of your fee? Or is it the crowd chanting “one more song” after hours of nonstop dancing?

For me, it’s the chant. That’s the highest praise. It’s the crowd saying, “In this moment, there’s nowhere we’d rather be.” It’s about the connection, the energy, and the memories we’ve just created together. But when you get all three—the review, the tip, and the chant—that’s the holy grail of DJing. It’s a powerful reminder that you’re in the right place, doing exactly what you’re meant to do.

Mr. & Mrs. Poser, your wedding was unforgettable—not just for the meticulous planning, the unique dances, the delicious late-night snacks, or the phenomenal officiating, but because you two are truly genuine, loving, and kind. Thank you for letting me be part of your day. I can’t wait to see you at another wedding, or maybe your vow renewal! 😂

The sheer Joy guests had at the Photo Booth was amazing to watch. I’m so lucky my beautiful fiancée got some clips of it. These were a few I could share, the others are rated FFEO (for family eyes only 😂). I love my job, it definitely doesn’t feel like work to me. And sharing my talents with amazing clients like The Rogers makes it that much more fulfilling. Chase & Claire, I wish you both a happy forever after filled with more adventures with great friends and amazing memories. If you were serious about that 10 year anniversary I’m down 🥰😉

Probably the biggest compliment ever is getting seen at a wedding and being booked to celebrate with the same crew at a different spot. It was an honor and a blast bringing my explosive energy to Illinois City. Small towns in the middle of nowhere where are officially where it’s at, even the deers 🦌 get down 😂

I absolutely love when I get the chance to travel out of state for an event, and this wedding was truly one for the books! It challenged me as a DJ and entertainer, but I’m thrilled to say that I rose to the occasion—and maybe even surpassed it. 🎧✨

It’s not about how many people you invite to your wedding, but the quality of those you surround yourself with, and this weekend was a perfect example of that. A huge shoutout to our wonderful bride for going with the flow and finding beauty in all the moments (even when things got a little crazy). And to our spectacular groom , who gave the most unexpected yet unbelievably flattering toast at the end of the night, praising the DJ (yes, that’s me) to the entire event. It’s not every day someone pauses their wedding to let everyone know how much you rocked the night—beyond grateful for that moment! (P.S. If anyone caught it on camera, send it my way! I need it for the days I need a little boost)

Big thanks to one of my new favorite vendors, , for capturing the night so beautifully and being an absolute gem 💎 and joy to work with. And of course, a massive shoutout to my lovely fiancé for being the best road buddy ever, always up for an adventure—even when it means driving over 9 hours for no pay at all 😂. I know, I’m lucky🍀

I get to be myself for a living. And the best part is the more I'm myself, the better I am at my job. I mean WOW! I feel incredibly spoiled to have a job that feels like recess, lucky to have found my path in a field that's a natural fit, and blessed to have a support system of friends that believe in me. If you're still finding your path keep following your bliss, take stock of what comes easily to you (which may be going unnoticed cause your probably taking your gifts for granted), and find a job that can let you play in the sandbox of your gifts. Do that long enough, you'll be living your purpose.
