More than 5,000 Palestinians have been killed or gone missing in 100 days of Israel's crippling siege of northern Gaza, according to the government's media office in the enclave.

Israel continues to pound the region with air strikes, targeting schools and killing civilians as ceasefire talks continue.

The Gaza media office said: "Over the past 100 days, our people in northern Gaza have suffered the most horrific forms of killing, ethnic cleansing, destruction and displacement."

Cuba joins Türkiye, Nicaragua, Colombia, Libya, Mexico, Palestine and Spain in supporting South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

On Monday, Cuba filed a declaration to intervene in the case concerning alleged violations of the Genocide Convention in Gaza, invoking Article 63 of the ICJ Statute.

South Africa initiated the proceedings in December 2023, accusing Israel of genocide related to its atrocities in Gaza.

California is such a beautiful state. I have visited a few times and have loved ones living there. 🙏🏼
