I generally don’t put too much value into “best of” awards like this nor do I purchase award plaques because who is considered “the best” is very subjective, especially considering I was listed as one of the top 3 best alongside two other very talented DJ’s late last year.

However, the reason why this means a lot to me and why I wanted this plaque as a memento is because I didn’t grow up in Maryland and I completely uprooted my life and my DJ career back in 2015 and moved down here from Northeast Pennsylvania. I knew nobody, had zero industry connections, and had to start back at the very bottom proving myself and my abilities gig after gig, slowly working my way back up.

I’m just blessed for all the great industry professionals I have met over the years (many I now consider friends), for all the opportunities that have been presented to me, and most of all for all the wedding couples who voted for me! I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2024 and beyond has in store 🙏🏻❤️
