I generally donโ€™t put too much value into โ€œbest ofโ€ awards like this nor do I purchase award plaques because who is considered โ€œthe bestโ€ is very subjective, especially considering I was listed as one of the top 3 best alongside two other very talented DJโ€™s late last year.

However, the reason why this means a lot to me and why I wanted this plaque as a memento is because I didnโ€™t grow up in Maryland and I completely uprooted my life and my DJ career back in 2015 and moved down here from Northeast Pennsylvania. I knew nobody, had zero industry connections, and had to start back at the very bottom proving myself and my abilities gig after gig, slowly working my way back up.

Iโ€™m just blessed for all the great industry professionals I have met over the years (many I now consider friends), for all the opportunities that have been presented to me, and most of all for all the wedding couples who voted for me! I canโ€™t wait to see what the rest of 2024 and beyond has in store ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธ
